Hi guys. I'm gonna start this. I doubt anyone will read it but oh well. I don't know if this is gonna be a masky or eyeless jack story yet so I guess we'll find out as we go!(:

Prologue

~Rosealyn's P.O.V.~

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"Sleep tight"

I drove the knife into the mans chest multiple times until the struggle stopped.

I stood up and grabbed my mask which had been knocked off in the process. I loved my mask. It hid my true identity from everyone and I always wore it around people, and it was just pretty.

My mother died giving birth to me and when I was 8 my dad committed suicide. My aunt and her boyfriend had taken me in. My aunt never really liked me but she never really hated me. All was well for a year or so until her boyfriend started drinking. He became an alcoholic and he slowly became abusive. He dragged my aunt into it and they both started to abuse me. One night I had enough of it. I had gotten up to get something to eat. I didn't eat much during the day because I was afraid of getting hurt. I opened the fridge and bent down to get something and when I closed the door my uncle was standing behind it. Pointing a gun at me. He grabbed me by the neck and dragged me by a counter.

'I don't want to die. I don't want to die. Please don't let me die.' I kept whispering. I did the only thing anybody else would do. I grabbed the kitchen knife on the counter and stabbed him. Multiple times in the chest. I went upstairs and did the same to my aunt who never tried to help me. I whispered "Sleep tight". I grabbed a backpack and shoved random hoodies and jeans into it and my collection of pocket knives and hunting knives. I grabbed one more thing off my dresser. My mask.

I slipped my mask on and ran into the woods behind my house. On my own at 10 years old. And that's how this all began.
