Chapter 1

I wake up to something or someone jumping on me.
"Kian I swear if you don't let me sleep!" I said pulling the covers over my head.
"Come on little sista get up you've sleep for 12 hours!"
"It's not enough!" I say groggily.
"Guess I'm going to have to do this the hard way!" Kian said.
"Wh-" I was cut of by Kian ripping the covers off me and pulling my feet off of the bed.
"Ugh, fine I'm up already"
Kian left the room and I went to get ready. Today was a lazy day. I didn't know what I was doing today, but with Kian as my brother anything is possible. I put on my black jeans and grayish/bluish sweater, with a red beanie. I put on my white converse before heading off to the bathroom. After I brush my teeth and wash my face, I curl my hair wavy today because why not, and did my makeup. I put on foundation, powder, mascara, and mint eos. As I head downstairs I heard a voice that wasn't Kians.
"Gray!" I yell koala jumping him like usual.
"Missed you to Carter!" Grayson said as he wrapped his arms around me.
Grayson and Ethan have been in New Jersey for the past week and I've missed them both so much! Grayson a little bit more only because he's my best friend. Grayson put me down and looked me in the eyes but this time it felt different. It wasn't out usual who can make the ugliest face contest, or making a weird smile, this was something different. But what do I
know. We stood like that for a few minutes until Kian broke us apart.
"Food now cause I'm hungry and ya know my stomach kinda needs food so-" I cut Kian off.
"Let's get food?"I said lugging a bit.
"Sounds good" Grayson said.
"McDonald's!"Kian said loud as he jumped up and down like a 6 year old getting candy.
"Let's go" I said as we got in the car.
As I sat in the back while Kian and Grayson were in the front talking about sports I just wonder about what just happened between Grayson and I. That has never happened before. It's probably nothing, right?
