Lee sat up in his bed and squinted at the morning sunlight coming through his window. He changed out of his night clothes and into his training uniform, he rinsed his face in cool water from a basin in the hallway and went downstairs to join Keon and his grandmother for breakfast. Keon was in his training uniform as well, his was sharper than Lee's due to him being a higher rank in the Heston, an event in which fighters use magic and weapons to fight into submission and the champion takes home prize money. "Lee there is porridge and fruit in the kitchen. He walked into the kitchen and got porridge and apple slices. When he went take a bite of apple his grandmother stopped him " lee would you please get some milk from the cow in the barn" Lee sighed and got up "Keon you best go to. "Keon, why do you think the king is taking people to the army against their will?" "If you ask me it's probably just to show he has the power to do it and wants everyone to know it". "He has gone a bit mad in the last couple of years the craziest thing was- " I'll go around back and get the bucket you go get the cow ready". Lee walked around to the back of the barn enjoying the air when he heard commotion coming from the center of the village. Lee ran towards town Keon caught up with him " you heard it to"? "Yes, we need to hurry"!
When they arrived on the scene two drunken men had gotten into a fight in a bar and stepped outside. Lee tackled one of the men and held him down while Keon muttered a spell to restrain him. The secound man punched Lee in the ribs yelling "I'm not done with him" Lee stood up kicked the men in the stomach then put the man in a headlock until the soldiers arrived. "Off to the kings army with the both of you" yelled one of the guards and took the men away.
"Thank you for your help" said one of the guards, and walked away with the soon to be soldiers. As they walked home Lee said to Keon "we can't let them take them off to the army they were drunk" there's nothing we can do Lee. But Keon had other things in mind
