Sorry it has been so long since I updated! But here it is. Enjoy :)

Monday morning came around and as usual I was extremely grumpy.

And hungover.

But apparently according to the buzzing gossip floating around school there was something new as well. Or at least a new student. All morning (to the great chagrin of my pounding head) people were talking. Girls were standing in tight clusters, whispering and squealing about some hot new guy.

I frankly didn't care. But my headache did. As I tried to get past another group of squealing girls, their cluster blocking the entire hallway, my annoyance came to a breaking point. So I just shoved right through them, knocking a few of their twig-like bodies over and breaking a few nails. And as they yelled at me, shrill cries of irritation I just gave them a very... 'special' finger. And then snickered at their horrified expressions.

I was a horrible person when I was hungover.

After homeroom I pushed my sunglasses up on my nose, trying to block out the fluorescent light of my school, when two muscular arms grabbed me from behind and swung me in a fast circle. I wanted to throw up. The spinning was not helping my massively hungover body and the motion was making me sick.

So I punched whoever grabbed me in the arm. Hard. They released me, allowing me to lean against a locker and stop my vision from spinning. When my brain was finally normal enough to look up I didn't expect who I saw.

Ronald McFarland stood there, half smirking and half grimacing as he clutched his arm gently.

"Damn woman, how do you punch like a man?" He said accusingly, making me roll my eyes.

"It's not my fault you're a wimp." I said with a flick of my hair as I adjusted my glasses and turned, walking away from Ronald down the hallway. I heard his heavy steps following me as I walked, echoing loudly.

"Li," he called loudly, making everyone look at me. I took no notice and kept walking, tucking my earbuds in my ears and trying to block out his voice. But he didn't give up, yelling and smirking all the while. "Li! Li! Li!" Finally I stopped, turning back towards him and waiting expectantly, my hand on my hip. He grinned cheekily and pulled me into a tight hug, crushing me against his chest. It was muscular, toned and would have been attractive.

You know if I swung that way.

"Can't-breathe." I weezed, my air passages cut off by his tight hug. He stepped back immediately, giving me a sheepish grin. I tried not to smile but it was difficult, his guilty smile humorous.

"I know you really wanted to talk to me but you didn't have to play hard to get Li." He said arrogantly, running his gaze over my body. I just rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, unsmused at his arrogance. I ignored his comment and went straight to my main question.

"Besides that totally ridiculous point, why the hell are you here Ronald?" A slightly dark look came over his face, clouding his features.

See Ronald went to a private school about a half hour north of town. It was an all boys school and ridiculously expensive. My mom uses it to try and convince me to date Ronald all the time, saying that a fine young man must come out of a school like that. The fact that he was here, in my school, not dressed in his fancy uniform made me confused. It seemed as if his family was too invested in the status the private school brought to ever let him switch schools. But regardless there he was in front of me, clad in a plain white tee and a lack of a blazer.

"I'm visiting my best friend," he stated, gesturing to me. "Obviously you are thrilled to see me." He meant it as a joke, but I could tell it was a lie. He was annoyed with something, something he wasn't keen on telling me.
