Chapter 1: Heavy Rain

In the middle of night, the darkness surrounding, the rain heavily pouring on the empty road, leaving no one but quietness. A guy who ran from other block like he never gonna stop. His dark eyes can only see with sadness. His endless tears blurring all his vision but thanks to the rain that hiding it from the world. Kyungsoo wished he was disappear from the here, leaving everything that could break every little piece of his heart and be free from the pain but the true is never change, he never could run away from this sickness reality.

Suddenly, someone grabbed Kyungsoo's hand, pulling him back to stop running away. Kyungsoo widen his eyes with surprised and glanced at the guy that held his hand tightly. He was stared at him with his black hair soaking because of the rain. Kyugsoo could feel the warmth of his skin and his heartbeat that told him he felt the same, the pain, broken, and sadness. Kyungsoo slowly look up and staring at the guy, that's when their eyes meet for the first time. He was smiling at him.

"Let's run away together, Kyungsoo..."

"And never comeback."

"Jongin...!" Kyungsoo muttering in his sleep, his hand tried to reach something that never let him reach once again. The tears started to flows down, soaking his face in the morning. Kyungsoo slowly open his eyes, staring at the white wall around him. He was on his bed, awakes from the dream that never stop appearing every night. Kyungsoo sat up while wiping his tear away slowly, his broken heart still pounding inside and called someone's name again and again. It was hurt so much, this feeling of missing someone that he loves more than his life, can only let the memories of them madly in love hunting him every days because he couldn't reached to that person anymore. Everything happened last year. It was unexpected, was so suddenly when his ex-boyfriend, Kim Jongin disappeared. He didn't say anything, told anyone, the only thing that left for Kyungsoo was a short text, those words "I don't wanna be with you anymore" all what he wanted is to break up without a single reason and leaving everything behind. But it can't never be really easy to take those words, to be understand, to even forget about him. Kyungsoo has been ask himself everyday about what happen? What did he do wrong? And why? But no one can answer him, except only for Jongin. They've been in love for so long. Kyungsoo knows how Jongin cares about him, how he loves him. But why he did this? That's all leave him beside with a broken heart.

Kyungsoo feels his body was trembling, he was so hurt and afraid. Only could wishes he was sleeping forever, so at least he can see Jongin's face in his dream when they're together and never felt this pain anymore.

Tok Tok

The sound of someone knocking the door wake Kyungsoo from his thought. He quickly wiped his tears away before anyone could see it and then glanced at the door to see a tall guy and his fresh smile on his face. His name is Park Chanyeol, Kyungsoo's childhood and best friend. It has been 3 month now since Kyungsoo move in to Chanyeol's house since he couldn't bear the emptiness of his and Jongin's and Chanyeol was always help and took care of him all the times. Kyungsoo can't never be thankful enough for him.

"I brought breakfast for you" Chanyeol said while walking next to Kyungsoo and put the tray on the night stand. There's was a well-done chicken sandwich and a glass of hot milk that he brought. Kyungsoo stared at it with his sad eyes.

"I'm sorry, I should be the one who making it for you..." Kyungsoo said while he blaming himself for being careless. Chanyeol chuckle quietly at his friend. "What are you taking about? I love making meals for you or is it because of it taste bad that's why you don't want me to cook"

"No it's not," Kyungsoo responded quickly while wildly open his eyes. Chanyeol sat on the bed while staring at his friend. At this close, Chanyeol could see how red and tired Kyungsoo's eyes is and its look like he has been crying hours so it quickly brings a pain to Chanyeol's heart too.

"I'm sorry, Yeol..." Kyungsoo lowered his head down, trying to hide his sorry feeling for his friend. What has he really done to Chanyeol to deserve his care like this? It was nothing.

"Why sorry to me again?" Chanyeol asked with his confused eyes, staring at Kyungsoo's sad face.

"You always take care of me..." Kyungsoo said lowly.

"Wha- It's fine. We're... friends... right?" Chanyeol slowly pat Kyungsoo's head and smiles. Kyungsoo looked up to him and finally show his best friend a smile. "Thanks... Yeol..."

"Come one, eat it before it cold down" Chanyeol said playfully stroked Kyungsoo hairs until it messed up.

As long as you need me Kyungsoo...

A/N: Hey, guys! So first chapter finally up now. I've been kinda busy this week so it kind of short chapter but I really hope you guys enjoys it. I'm kind of nervous to know how you guys thinking about this story so far since it's a rewrite from my last fanfic but I really love this plot so I will do my best.
