I let out a small noise of annoyance and I stared at my screen, a cursor blinking rapidly at me.
I leant back in my chair, tangling my fingers in my hair and looking up at my off white ceiling.Writers block.
That's what this is, and it's the worse thing that can ever happen when you have to have 2000 words written in under 24 hours.
You see, I write for a blog. Quite a popular blog, if you need to know. And this blog has 'top writers'. These 'top writers' have to have a new post every couple of days, and it has to be something good. Something that will draw readers in and something that will make them want more.
This means constant work that including answering comments, questions and of course, writing the next blog post.
This is a lot of hard work that I wasn't at all prepared for when I thought it would be a fun idea to agree to being a top writer.
And I know that I sound lazy and all, but it truly is tough.
I shook my head it frustration and got up out of my wheely chair, walking out of my small cramped office and in my even more small and cramped kitchen.
I opened up my fridge, peering into the cold, white nothingness. I hate being broke.
I slammed the door with a huff right before grabbing my keys and wallet, putting on my vans and a tan colored coat.
I quickly looked over my appearance in the full body mirror by my door and ten heading out of my apartment.
When I was out of the slightly gross smelling hallways and into the reception room (that still smelt slightly gross) I heard a quiet ding. I looked around quickly before realizing the ding had come from my phone.
I groaned and took my phone out of my pocket, looking at the message being displayed.
Boss: Hey Louis, sorry for bothering you this late but I'd just like to remind you that you're post has to be up by tomorrow! Make sure it's done!
I frowned and put my phone back in y pocket, but not before taking a glance at the time.

Thank god for 24 hour corner stores.
I walked out of the building complex and out into the car park where my tiny buzz box of a car was parked. When it came into sight I had to remind myself that it may be the ugliest car anyone has ever seen, at least it got me around. Sort of.
I got into my car and drove out of the car park and onto the night roads to the store.
It took about 5 minutes, but I finally parked my car in front of the store, though very crookedly.
After cringing at my terrible parking skills I walked into the tiny shop, the bells announcing my presence.
I kept my head down as I walked to the cereal section, getting a box of cornflakes and coco puffs. Yeah, that'll do for now.
I quickly grabbed a carton of milk and walked up to the counter, placing my items down on the smooth surface.
I looked up from the floor to see a pair of happy bright green eyes and curly brown hair that was tousled about carelessly. To be very honest, it was quite a nice sight to look up and see, but the only thought running through my he's was how the hell someone this attractive was working at a corner store.
He looked more like a business man, maybe even a famous artist. Something... I don't know, more fancy? Literally anything other than a sad worker at a corner store.
The worker scanned my cereal and milk, not looking up at me whilst he did it. He put my things in a cheap plastic bag and said in a chirpy voice,
"That'll be $9.50."
I took my eyes away from his face (finally) and quickly took my wallet out of my pocket, taking out a $10 note and handing it to him.
He took the note with his slender hands and put it into the register, handing me a 50 cent coin.
I took the change and grabbed my bag, turning away from him and leaving the cramped store.
I need to figure out that guys name.
