⠀⠀⠀⠀After her family vacation goes devastatingly wrong, seventeen-year old Sierra is forced to fly out and live in a beach-side town with a family she has never met before.
⠀⠀⠀⠀Desperate to rebuild what she had before the holidays, Sierra puts a huge amount of pressure on herself to stay the positive girl she has always been.
⠀⠀⠀⠀But living with the Manson family and starting a new chapter is easier said than done.
⠀⠀⠀⠀On top of fond memories that are unwilling to stop haunting her, there is the addition of Kit Manson.
⠀⠀⠀⠀Arrogant, cruel and completely unaware of Sierra's situation, the two characters collide and Sierra's determination is slowly wearing thin.
⠀⠀⠀⠀Will Sierra ever find happiness in her new home and learn to live through the aftermath?
⠀⠀⠀⠀Beach campfires, truth or dare, fierce prank wars, plot twists and the unveiling of embarrassing secrets - I, Spiritedly, present to you:

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Authors Note
Hello!
Just a few things I want to say before you begin this book:
- Aftermath means, and I quote from Google, "the consequences or after-effects of a significant unpleasant event."
- I know the blurb makes the book seem like it is going to be morbid and miserable but the whole idea behind it is about making the best of the worst situations. It isn't (hopefully!) going to be really dark and depressing.
- There will be a lot of character development going on in this story so if one of the characters is really getting on your nerves don't stress too much about it.
- I am only in secondary school and therefore my spelling/punctuation/grammar may not be amazing and I apologise in advance. Do feel free to point out any mistakes I have made.
- I am British so the book will be written in that way but I must warn you that when I write I sometimes have a tendency of dropping in American words/phrases. It's a very bad habit but as I read a lot of American books sometimes I do it without noticing.
- I am writing this book in present tense which is something I've never done before. I'm certain that I will slip up and write the wrong tense from time to time so please point this out to me if you notice.
- If you're still reading up to this point I honestly have so much respect for you and thank you sincerely. I hope you can give the book a chance and hopefully, fingers crossed, it meets your expectations.
Happy reading and feel free to comment because I love reading them.
As I haven't even published this yet, it currently has: 0 Reads, 0 Votes and 0 Comments.
Let's see where this book goes shall we?
