The drive to the tower is quiet and awkward. I think Steve was surprised with the number of knives I had when he searched me, and he only found half. During the drive I empty my jacket and boots of other knives. And no, I can't stab him or anything because I'm in the far back seat and my hand is chained to the armrest. I guess I could throw a knife or two at him but I still don't want him getting hurt.

"We're here." Steve says, getting out of the car and talking with a SHEILD agent.

The agent comes in, unlocks my bonds and pulls my out of the car, handcuffing me one I get out. He leads me through some doors while Steve is no where to be seen.

Great, they have a metal scanner. There goes the rest of my knives. Once I'm officially unarmed, they march me to the elevator and bring me up to some room where all the avengers are.

Never have I had to stand before so many important people who weren't my from my base, and never have I had to stand before someone I've wronged.

The SHEILD agents stay, two at each side of me and one behind me. Yeah, like I'm going to run, any of these guys could smash my head off without a second thought.

"What's your name?" Captain America asks, but not the kind of nice asking, more of an interrogational voice. Hey, I've been lying to him about everything else, why should he believe I told him my real name?

"Kara." I reply, keeping my eyes trained on the ground. "Kara Matthews. Assassin and agent of Scorpion,""

Tony pulls up a file of me on the computer, typing in a couple of things. Ha, it doesn't even have that much information about me. It only says that I'm an orphan and I have a brother, as well as my age and gender and all that stuff. Of course he adds some information into it, but they still don't know that much about me.

"Who do you work for?" Hawkeye questions. Okay, they already know I work for Scorpion, why are they asking?

"Scorpion."

"What's his real name?"

Oh, so that's why they're asking. That makes sense. "Lucas Longbollow." I reply. "But I'm not completely sure; he could've lied to me."

The interrogation continued for what seemed like hours. Captain America was nice enough and got me some hot chocolate. Black Widow was actually really nice, I think she understands me a bit.

Suddenly an alarm goes off.

"What the..." Tony checks the computer and all the cameras have gone offline.

"Kyle." I hiss.
