In the past I have had people come to me with some problems and issues of their own. I wanted to help people as much as I can, you know keeping everyone happy. But when I tried doing that I just ended up putting more stress on myself than had ever been put on me by both myself and others. I had started to put others before me. At this point I didn't know what to do. I wanted to help people. But was all of this stress worth it? The answer is no.
If your like me at all, you will find that making everyone else happy is one of the most important things behind family and friends. But at this point in my life making everyone else happy went before me. Always try to make yourself happy. Do what makes you feel the most comfortable and secure.
Something I always thought was that when I try to make myself happy before others it sounded selfish. Here's the thing, its not selfish. It is just meeting your needs. Everyone deserves to be happy. Being happy and proud of yourself is not selfish. If anything its good for you to be proud of yourself. When you accomplish something good, be proud of what you did. So what I'm saying is meet your needs. You need to be happy before you can make others happy.
