Here I am... wandering around the world. No, I'm not a world traveler, I'm homeless. You could say I don't like my home life, but that would only be a sliver of the pie. I am a ninja and a very good one at that. I made Chunin level when I was 7, skipped Jounin and made it to the Anbu when I was 10. So yeah. My parents always yelled at me for being a ninja. They told me it was a waste of time. The reason I wanted to be a ninja was because of a village near the one I lived in was attacked by a group of rogue ninja and the poor village had no ninja to defend it's people. I left when I was 14. Not even two weeks after I left my parents sent ninja after me. I guess they wanted their punching bag back. I'll be damned if I'm going back there. That's why I can't stay in one place for too long. Anyways, I made it to the land of wind and I am walking through the dessert towards Sunagakure, the Village hidden in the Sand. A ninja village. At least they can protect themselves. I walked up through the opening and was stopped by some Chunin level ninjas.
"May we see some Identification?" one asked me.
"Sure." I rummaged through my bag, took out my I.d. and handed it to them.
They both looked it over and looked back at me.
"So, what brings you to Sunagakure, miss?" the other one asked me.
"Just wandering...." I said.
They looked at each other and nodded.
"Okay. You just need to visit Lord Kazekage and inform him that you will be staying here and how long you will be staying." the first one said.
"Alright." I replied walking away.
Lets see....I think if I go straight then take a left....no right.....no- FUCK!!! I cant remember. The last time I was in Suna was a year and a half ago. Damn..... I just stood there looking back and forth at the intersection in front of me wondering which path I need to take.
"Shit..." I muttered to myself, or so I thought.
"Need some help?" A boy with spiky brown hair asked me.
"Um yeah... Can you tell me how to get to the Kazekage's manor?"
"Sure. Just follow me. I'm heading there myself." He answered.
"Great, thanks." I said.
"I'm Kankuro, by the way." he said and held out his hand.
"Nightmare." I said shaking it.
I followed him to the left. It was silent for a few minutes until he spoke up.
"So why do you need to see my brother?"
"Well...- wait. The Kazekage is your brother?" I asked, astonished.
"Yeah My younger brother. So why do you need to see him?"
"Well, I wanna stay here for a few days. I'm a wanderer."
"Oh... why?" He asked intrigued.
"Kankuro If I tell you this, you have to be my best friend, Okay?"
"Yes!"
"*sigh* Well, my parents were abusive. They didn't want me to be a ninja. So two weeks after I left home they hired ninjas to capture me. I guess they wanted their punching bag brought back to them."
"Whoa... dude... I feel for ya. My mom died giving birth to my little brother. My little brother has the one tailed beast inside of him-"
"Wait. The Shukakku? Your little brother is the Jinchuriki host for the Ichibi? Is his name... Gaara?"
"Y-yeah. How did you know?" Kankuro asked.
"While I was traveling I stopped at Konohagakure for about two weeks and met a very annoying, hyperactive, knuckle head Ninja. He is the Nine tails Jinchuriki host."
"Naruto, huh?"
"Yeah. He told me about Gaara. He really sees Gaara as a close friend." I said.
"Yeah Gaara and Naruto are like the best of friends."
We stopped once we reached the manor.
"C'mon, I'll walk you inside and Introduce you to him."
"Okay."

~Gaara's P.O.V.~
I turned around to looked out the window and saw Kankuro walking with some girl. That's him...more focused on girls than paper work or missions. *sigh* This time I can agree with that girl. She is quite beautiful. With her long brunette hair and her hazel eyes that sparkle with determination, but hide loneliness. I turn back around and start doing some more paper work. You'd think they'd run out of trees to make this, considering all these stacks of unsigned documents on my desk. I was so lost in thought I didn't even hear the knocking on my door. I didn't know anybody was there until Kankuro creaked the door open slightly.
"Gaara. There's someone here to see you." He said happily.
"Very well." I said stopping the paper work process.
Kankuro opened the door the rest of the way and came inside my office with the girl trailing behind.
"This is Nightmare."
"Hi.." She said shyly. It was cute.
"Please state your business." I said calmly.
"Um, I would like to stay here for a week or two. After that I'll be out of your hair."
I thought for a moment and Kankuro came over to me.
"She ran from her home because her parents beat her and they sent ninjas after her. So she keeps wandering from place to place." He told me.
He already did some investigating. I guess he's not so useless.
"Okay."
