It was then Tuesday, May the 26th.
Going to school felt less like a large boulder in my life now. In fact, it felt a lot better.
I won't have to face sudden flashbacks about Jimin and feel the urge to cry about it, since now I could literally just look up and there he is actually sitting in front of me. My chest felt light and all the chains which caused the frustrating tightness seemed to have disappeared.
I must admit that fears still haunted me. But this had been the seventh day of his return, and nothing bad had seemed to happen since then. I tried letting the sun dry my tears and the doors to the bad memories close. Because why waste my time drowning in them when I could make good new ones in the present?
We had just done the Biology daily exam and I was taking my phone out from my locker, which was right next to Woo Hyelim's. The moment I opened the door, I was welcomed by the mini giraffe plush strap chained to my phone.
"J is for Jinhee and Jimin, and also Jiraffe!"
Oh my, Park Jimin.
"Why are you smiling at your locker like that?" someone's voice surprised me from my side.
"Ah, Hyelim-ah! You startled me.."
"Really?" she craned her neck and tried to look at what's inside my locker, "what are you looking at?"
I took my phone out and closed my locker, "It's nothi--"
"Ooooh it's so cute!" In less than a second, my phone was already in her hands.
"Did Jimin gave you this?" she said as she brought the plush closer to her eyes, simply fascinated.
"Huh? How do you know?" I asked.
"Eihhh, these kind of things.. It's stuff girls get from their boyfriends!"
My stomach felt ticklish from what she just said, and I could feel my face slowly warming up.
"But, I'm not d-da... Dating Jimin?"
"Yah Lee Jinhee," she finally placed my phone back in my hand, "If you guys aren't dating, then I don't even know anymore what dating really is!"
"But I'm telling you the truth!"
"Jinjja?" she furrowed her eyebrows, "Ahh.. Then Jimin is probably just looking for the right time to confess to you."
My face heated up even more and I was probably flushing.
"W-what are you talking abou--"
"Anyways, me and the girls are going to hang out today. You should join us!" she cut a-stuttering-me off.
"The girls?"
"Well, you know... Yeonseo, Jeonghyo, and Sukyeong. Oh, Sukyeong's sister would probably come too. Sujin, Nam Sujin. You know her right?"
Nam Sujin? How could I not know her..
"We'll probably just go here and there and shop a little, or maybe stop for some coffee. So, are you in?" she asked in an excited tone.
"Uhh.. I don't kno--"
"Come on! You're coming right? Right?" she kept getting closer that I had to lean backwards.
I finally took a step backwards, only to step onto someone's foot.
"Ouch!"
I turned my head.
"Jiminnie?" I started to blush again.
"What are you guys talking about?" Jimin blinked a few times, waiting for an answer.
