I hear voices coming from the kitchen as I slowly open my eyes "Edward?" I ask I hear the voices coming closer as Edward walks through the door "good morning Vanessa" he says giving me a hug "who were you talking to?" I ask "oh the are my cousins they wanted to meet you" he kisses me "well I'd better get changed then" I pull away from Edward and put on shorts and a long t-shirt

I hold Edward's hand as we walk out "do they drink animal blood like you?" I ask him "no but they won't hurt you I promise" I walk to the kitchen and see 3 vampires with red eyes "hello I'm Garrett and you must be Vanessa" a tall guy says walking over to me "hey" I say back "so are the legends true?" He asked "so far" Edward says as a short girl walks over to me "Hi I'm Pheobie and this is my mate Josh" I smile "hey"

"What do you guys want to do today?" Edward asked Garrett "How about we go cliff diving" Pheobie suggested "sounds scary" I say "don't worry it'll be fun" Josh said

******Time Skip******

I watch Pheobie and Josh jump off first then Garrett "do you want me to give you a push?" I smile "no I think I will be fine" I say he kisses me and jumps off the edge of the cliff "Come on Vanessa your turn" Garrett says "here goes nothing" I run up and jump of the edge "Well done Vanessa" Pheobie says "thanx" I say "race you all to the top" Garrett says Edward puts me on his back and runs of course we make it to the top first

"Okay now when you jump off you have to do a cool trick and who ever has the best trick wins" Josh said "Vanessa will win this one" Edward said "me first" Pheobie blurts out she ran up and did a front flip off the edge followed by Josh who did twist and Garrett who who just did a long jump "you wanna go first?" Edward asked I run up and do a round of and triple back flip off the edge Edward jumped off the edge and did 1 back flip "I think Vanessa wins" Edward says and everyone laughs

"That was amazing Vanessa I'll have to keep practicing" Pheobie said I laugh splashing Garrett with water as I hid behind Edward Pheobie jumps on Josh's shoulders and Edward puts me on his "gang up on Garrett" Edward yells

******Time Skip******

We get out of the water and sit up on top of the cliff with a camp fire lately I have noticed Garrett was giving me funny looks was he upset with me? Edward pulls me close to him and wraps a towel around us Edward starts to growl "maybe you should go take a breather Garrett if you can't handle it" Josh says "it's you sent Vanessa he is just not use to be around a human that he can't kill" Pheobie says "oh" I say burying myself deeper in Edwards chest "it's okay Vanessa" Edward wraps his arms around my shoulders and kisses me lightly "how do you manage it Edward" Garrett says walking back over to camp fire "you can smell her scent 3 miles away" he says glaring at me "sometimes I don't know if I can control myself but I get through it because I know I would rather die than live without her" Edward says I kiss him lightly and face Pheobie who was also laying against her mate "your very lucky Edward to find a human who loves monsters" she said "your not monsters your just very fascinating creatures" I say

They all smile at me "thanx Vanessa no one would ever call us something as nice as that" Josh says "your welcome" the rest of the day went fast and Edward was going to take me home as soon as they showed me something that only very few vampires have seen "You cant tell anyone about what we are about to show you" Garrett says "I promise" I say we walk through a passage way over grown with bushes and see a huge castle "wow this is amazing" I say looking at Pheobie "this was once a safe place for all vampires many years ago but now it is just a memory that only very few still remember" she said "what happened? " I asked her

"well some vampires brought a bunch of humans into the castle and all hell broke loose the place was shut down and just about everyone forgot about it except for us 4 and now us 5" I look at Edward "does Alice or the rest of our family know about this?" I ask him "no and we would like to keep it that way" he says "well your secrets safe with me" I kiss Edward lightly "but why don't you want them to know?" He smirks a little "well because everyone thought it was destroyed due to there being something that can destroy our whole kind forever living in that castle" Garrett says I hold onto Edward's arm "okay now I am a bit concerned about why you brought me here" I say
