Spain's POV

I was busy cleaning my weapons when I heard a little girl giggling outside. I placed the weapon down at the desk and walked outside. I witnessed the three kids talking with each other. Especially with Philippines. Well actually, she was first taken care by China.

I remember how I brought Philippines with me.

{ Flashback }

As I set foot on this newly discovered country. I walked towards the forest, then saw a little boy hiding from behind a tree. The guards grabbed him violently but I stopped them because the child was crying in terror. I grabbed him from their hands and leaned his head.

"That is no way, to treat a child like that!" I yelled at them angrily as the child cried on me. I patted his head to make her stop crying. She raised his head showing golden brown eyes.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I am fine..." He replied. Such an adorable kid.

"What is your name?" I asked stroking his beautiful ebony black hair.

"Philippines."

"Such a beautiful name, my name is Spain, you must be a new country." Suddenly, her tummy began to growl, she placed her hand in his tummy and said.

"I'm hungry." He said. I handed him a mango which was supposed to be my snack for later. I thought he must be all alone, for a child this age, he shouldn't be left around like this.

It wouldn't be bad if I adopt her...

"Hey, do you want to live with me? I have two more kids living with me, you can play with them anytime you want..." I asked. Looking at his attire.

After those days, I brought him to my house in Spain and introduced him to Mexico and Romano (South Italy).

"Kids! He is Philippines, he's gonna live with us now." I said looking behind my leg where Philippines is hiding.

"Hello..." Philippines said while blushing.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Mexico!" Mexico greeted while running towards my leg. Years later...an awkward moment happend.

It's just that, I've mistaken Philippines for a boy so since she was a child I gave her boy's clothes.

"Spain, I have a problem." Said a adolescent Philippines behind the door.

"Yes what is it?" I asked as I turned my head surprise seeing her skirt with blood.

"B-b-b-blood?!..." I stuttered finally realizing that Philippines is a girl, from that moment on, she started to wear clothes for girls.

{end of flashback #1}

And also I became very overprotective of her, like for example. When boys approach her...
