Return of the Nightmare (Fright Night FF) ~BOOK ONE~

Prologue

~Nightmare~

The sound of waves crashing on the rocks was like a continuous voice calling my name, Valerie it said, the hypnotic sound caused me to venture towards it, I tried to call out to the sound, but nothing came out of my mouth, over and over I tried to call out to the sound of my name, but nothing.

Utter silence released from my lips, even my breath was silent, I ran towards the sound in my long, white bridesmaids dress, the sound of my name became louder and louder with a flick of the tongue each time it repeated.

The scenery rapidly changed to a gloomy, dark mansion, dust and fog filled the air with dimly lit candles scattered across the walls of the mansion "hello?" I managed to spit out, I followed the trail of candles to a ballroom, filled with people dancing in big gowns and masks covering their faces.

"Hello darling" I felt a pair of cold, strong hands wrap around me tightly "prepare for the party of your life" I could feel something sharp sticking into my neck and when I tried to scream, nothing came out, blackness began to stretch out into the room and I fell off the solid surface, falling miles and miles down the dark ibis.
