" Stephanie please, I really, really don't think we should do this," Katherine pleaded. Stephanie looked at Katherine, " It's fine. It's just a myth. Even if something does happen, we're all going to be together, so i promise you it'll be fine," Stephanie persuaded. Katherine hesitated and took a deep breath, " you know what, you're right. What possibly could go wrong?" Katherine said.
Stephanie smiled, " there's the Katherine I know!" Katherine smiled back. " Don't be a such a big baby Katherine," Jacob said jokingly. Katherine did a fake smile and rolled her eyes. Maddie laughed and began kissing Jacob, " I love you so much," Maddie said in a sexy voice, " but I love you more," Jacob replied, " that's impossible," Maddie smiled.
The line began moving. " c'mon love birds!" Grace called. Jacob stopped kissing Maddie and they both caught up with the rest. They all walked up to the booth to get their tickets. " Um... Hey. Can I please have 8 tickets for the ' Mirror Maze of Terror'" Stephanie asked. The man at the booth looked straight into Stephanie's eyes. " Well that's the first in 3 years," he said, confused. " yeah," Stephanie said with a slight giggle.
" good luck," said the assistant, handing them their tickets. Stephanie nodded with a smile. They began walking off to the mirror maze. " what was that all about?" Luke asked, " No clue," Stephanie replied. Luke looked back at the man. The man starred right in his eyes with a deadly look. " what the heck?" Luke asked, creeped out. " What?" Stephanie asked, " He was starring right at me. How'd he know I was gonna look at him?" Luke asked, puzzled.
" just let it go," Stephanie replied. They had just arrived at the Mirror Maze. They all handed their tickets to the assistance. All 8 of them began walking in. Maddie and Jacob held hands. Jacob kissed her on the cheek. Katherine looked at them. A frown began to rise on her face. Everybody then walked into the mirror maze except Katherine. " C'mon, what are you waiting for?" Jacob yelled. Katherine did a silent gulp. She looked at her foot as she was beginning to walk in. The second her foot touched the ground, she gotta horrible migraine. She put her hand on her head and walked in.
" Toughen up Kat! You're being a drama queen," Maddie said, frustrated. Katherine didn't respond, thinking it was the most mature thing to do. " leave her alone," Stephanie demanded. The 8 began walking through the mirror maze. " Not that bad, Kat," Stephanie encouraged. All of a sudden, the doors of the exit and enter slammed shut. The sound scattered throughout the whole maze. The whole maze went pitch black. Nobody could see a thing. " Welcome, to the game, where only one shall survive. You have 24 hours until all of you die except one. Don't sleep, don't eat, don't make a wrong turn. All leading to death or suffering. But your goal is not to die. Enjoy, the game," the anonymous voice said.
All of a sudden Maddie screamed at the top of her lungs. " Maddie? Maddie!" Jacob yelled as loud as he could. The lights came back on. Maddie was gone. Jacob started running down the maze. " Jacob stop!" Luke yelled, grabbing his shoulder and pulling him back. Jacob still trying to run. Luke got a better grip. " Listen to me right now! This isn't funny. We will find her. But we cannot split up!" Luke demanded Jacob. " Get off of me!" Jacob yelled, pushing Luke back. " Stop! He isn't worth it!" Megan yelled in protection of Luke.
" we can't just leave him!" Luke yelled. Luke started chasing after Jacob. " Jacob stop!" Luke said. Stephanie, Megan, Grace, Adam, and Katherine all followed after them. Luke had just caught up with Jacob, but he was just standing there. " ja-" Luke then knew why he wasn't moving. Maddie's hand were tied up above her head and had knives in her stomach, " C'mon we have to get her down!" Luke yelled. Jacob was in shock. He couldn't move. His lip was shivering and he couldn't get a hold of himself. " what are you waiting for. Help me get her down!" Luke demanded.
Jacob began walking forward. He got out a pocket-knife and tried cutting the rope. The rest caught up with them. " What the heck!" Stephanie yelled. She ran up and tried slowly ejecting the knives from her stomach. Stephanie's lip began shivering as blood started dripping onto her arms. Stephanie started pulling out the other knives. She closed her eyes and pulled it out. Grace then began throwing up all over the ground. " Grace!" Megan said scarcely. Megan hugged grace and started helping her. " hey, it's gonna be alright.. Trust me were gonna get out of this together!" Megan encouraged. Grace couldn't talk. The throw up was clogging her mouth. Megan began patting her back.
Luke and Jacob cut both of the rope off. Jacob carried Maddie onto the ground. " i-I'm so s-sorry baby," Jacob said, as a tear fell onto Maddie's face. Katherine came over to help. " She's losing too much blood. We need something to stop the blood from gushing." Luke says, " Use my jacket," as he started taking off his jacket and handing it to Katherine. Katherine wounded Maddie's stomach.
Maddie's eyes turned black and her face tilted with a huge grin. Maddie stood up quickly. She took the dagger from the ground and cornered Jacob in the corner. " Get out of here!" Luke demanded everyone. Adam and Megan lifted up Grace as Stephanie and Katherine followed. Stephanie was covered in blood. They all ran down the maze except Luke. " Goodbye Jacob," she said with a smile. She stabbed Jacob continuously in the eye and stomach with her knife. " T-this isn't Maddie," Jacob said as his last words to Luke. Jacob slowly slid down the wall to his death. " Jacob!" Luke yelled loudly. Maddie turned around towards Luke with a huge smile. " Run little boy,"
