Johnny Gaudreau

"Y/N, come down for breakfast!"
I rolled out of bed, got my clothes on for school and went downstairs.
I sat there and enjoyed my cereal as my mom told me what she was going to do for today.
"Well today I'm just going to clean the house, pay some bills and maybe go shopping for some stuff for your birthday"
"Mom, my birthday isn't for another month!"
"Oh ya, your dad dropped by this morning before he went to Thailand and told me to give you this in the morning"
She hands me an envelope, I open it and I see two tickets for tonight's game. Flames Vs Pittsburgh, with a note saying,
      "Hey my girl, I know this is an early  birthday present but I may not be able to be there for your birthday. But I'll do everything I can to get back in time. I love you, Y/N." -Love Dad

I just sat there with a smile on my face. I finished my breakfast and told my mom thank you, gave her a kiss and went to go get ready for the day.

I finished my morning routine and told my mom that I'd be back for tonight's game to get ready with "y/b/f/n"

I drove to school, with my Gaudreau jersey on, my hair in a high ponytail, black leggings and a pair of Air Force 1's. I got to my first class and there I see  "y/b/f/n" sitting in the front with her Monahan jersey and some what the same kind of outfit.
"Y/n, so are we going to meet our boys tonight?" Y/b/f said as I sat down
"Well I sure damn hope so, but I need to call dad and tell him thank you" I replied to the question she asked
"Where about's are we sitting?" She asked as Mr.Watson walked into the class
"Oh, we are sitting behind the net." I said with excitement and Mr. Watson chimed in and said
"Y/n, I have a feeling that you are going to getting a boyfriend tonight" he said with humour in his voice. He's been friends with my family for ages and he is practically my uncle.
"Uncle John, well you know I have been hoping and praying, so tonight is probably the night. I said with a little confidence. He just laughed and started the class.

  *skip to after school*

Y/b/f and I are getting ready for the game and can not decide what to wear or do until the game
"Y/b/f, I'm just going to wear black leggings, my converse and my hair down and straightened. How about you?" I said as I look in the mirror doing my hair
"Well I think I'll just wear, blue jeans, my nikes and my hair in a ponytail. Sean's just going to have to take me as I am or not at all." She said with a little sass and seriousness.

*skip to warm ups*

We walked in the Saddledome and decided that we'd get some snacks now and then some at the second intermission. We waited in line as I got nachos with jalapeños, spicy cheese and a medium Coke. When y/b/f just got a hotdog and a water.

We got to our seats and warm ups were just about to start. We watched as the boys skated around doing their normal routines for warm ups. My phone vibrates and it just happened to be a couple buds from hockey and they took a snapchat of me saying "is that our tendy?" from where they were sitting and I was laughing. I stood up and looked everywhere. I looked to my right and saw about five of my buddies waving and laughing at me from the top bowl. I yelled, "text me and we'll meet at second intermission."
When I turned around, just as I turned around Johnny was smacked right into the boards by Mony and he turned all red. I just chuckled and sat down with my cheeks red. He waved and mouthed "Hi", and with my heart racing I did the same thing. Y/b/f  was just fangirling and said "y/n, did you just see that? Sean totally did that on purpose to get your attention for Johnny." She semi whispered and semi yelled
I just sat there watching the warm up as the fans filled the stands. My phone was buzzing every now and again from Jacob texting me about going to see them and if I was single cause one of his buddies thinks I'm cute. I just told him I'll see him at second intermission and yes I am single.

The game started and Johnny was on the top line. The puck slides to Huds and he passes it to Mony, he crosses the blue line and sauces the puck to Johnny and he dangles the puck and tops a celly and the crowd goes wild. I jump up from my seat and clap my hands. He skates by me and taps the class and gives me a little head nod. 
I sit back down and eat my nachos. The boys are playing a good game and I'm getting more attention as I hoped. When Johnny was on the ice he would skate by and glance at me. It was still 1-0 for the Flames as the first period drawled to a close. The boys skated off the ice as y/b/f and I just talked for awhile, until those cute little contests with the kids come up on the Jumbo Tron and we just laughed and danced along. I took out my phone and looked at my snapchat. Jacob, Dave and Ty's stories all consisted of trying to get girls and videos of me eating my nachos... Embarrassing I think yes...
2nd period has come to a start and they announce Ramo and the game begins.

Johnny scored a second time and this time all the boys skated by and patted him on the back. It was the funniest thing, like he just won the teams approval to look at me or something. As the period went by and the second intermission came, I became even hungrier so y/b/f name and I went and got more food and met up with some of the guys.
"Yo Y/N, what's up?" Jake asks as he walks up to me and wraps his arms around me
"Hey Jake, looking good" I say as I hug him back
"Aha, look at you. Has your boy noticed you yet?" He says in a joking matter

"Oh well in a matter of fact he has noticed me. Y/b/f can vouch for me on this one" I say as I look to y/b/f as she is just standing there intrigued into the conversation.
"Oh yes, he's been eyeing her all game and even the boys seem to approve of him." She says with a little pride in her voice and pats me on the back.
"Aha, well I knew she'd get someone's attention tonight. But hey guys, this is y/n she plays on my hockey team with Dave, Ty and I" he says as he puts his arm around me and introduces me to these three guys in front of me.
I reach out and shake their hands and one of them is super cute and Jake finally says, "y/n, this is Branden and he's the one that thinks your cute" as Branden hits him in the shoulder and hides his face.
"Ugh... Hi!" Branden says as he rubs the back of his neck with his hand.
"Hi, umm we should all get back to our seats, it was nice to meet you and if you want my number or anything, Jake's got you." I say as I hug him and the rest of the boys

I make my way back to my seat and I look on the ice and the boys are about to start the third period. Maybe Johnny will get a hat trick!

I sat there and waited for some good action to come and finally there was,
Johnny skated down the middle, Ferland passes it to Johnny, Johnny takes it to the left side, sauces it to Brods and back to Johnny, he takes it and tops a five hole through Fleury's legs. I stand up and scream with happiness and excitement. The boys celebrate on the ice and Johnny skates back to the bench and knocks gloves with all the boys. Hats are flying everywhere as he does this. He skates to the glass where I am, looks at me and pops a puck through the netting. As it landed in my hand I just looked at him and mouthed "good job" as he smiled pointed and at the puck. There was a note attached that said:
      "Hey, I think you are really beautiful and wanted to get to know you a bit more if that isn't a problem. I scored all those goals for you and maybe this could be my fourth goal scored tonight, will you go out with me for coffee or something after the game?" -Johnny xx

Both y/b/f and I sat there with our jaws to the floor and getting stares from everyone. As the play commenced I waited for the whistle to tell Johnny that I would love to go out with him. I knocked on the glass as he came by and I nodded my head he's and placed a piece of tiny paper saying yes. He just smiled and skated back to the boys.

So this is my first one and I don't know how I feel about it but tell me if I should do a part two or no!
Ps. Johnny is my favourite player 😘
