Hannah's POV:

I'm not really your typical 16 year old girl. I'm not into drama and I don't try to get every guy in our school to like me. I just simply love school. Im hoping to get into Harvard after highschool.

My mom died when I was 6 from breast cancer. I was depressed for 8 years but Than I realized that being depressed wasn't what my mom would have wanted. So I spend most of my time at school. My dad and I are not really close.

I have brown hair and big brown eyes. I am pretty thin for the fact I don't excercise. I have braces and pale skin.

I got to school at 8 this morning and school starts at 9 so I have an hour to study for my math test next week.

My math teacher, Mr. Jones, was running to me. That's weird I thought.

"Hannah!" he yelled.

"yes mr. Jones?" I asked

"I need to talk to you about something." he's said panting.

I gulped. Was I in trouble?

"what about?" I asked nervously

"I need you to tutor someone!" he replied.

Oh great I thought just great.

"sure." i said.

"great come with me!"

I groaned in my head while picking up my kitbag. Then I followed him to an empty classroom.

"I need you to tutor someone in math, and this is confidential. Okay?" he asked.

"yeah I got it,"

"good here's some paper, pencils and a calculater. I need you to tutor him every morning for an hour untill he gets his grades up." he said.

Oh goody it's a guy. I thought sarcasticall.

"sounds good!" I said as cheerfully as I could.

I sat down and arranged everything then I heard him walk in. I looked up to see who it was and I was shocked to see Cody standing there.

"hey!" he said.

"hello"I replied.

Cody was the most popular kid on our school. I've never talked to him before now.

he had dark hair and was extremely fit. He could get any girl he wanted but instead he was single.

"what's your name?" he asked.

Yep he didn't have a clue who i was.

"Hannah."

"cool." he said not interested.

After the tutor session was over he got his things and I got mine.

"nice meeting you hannah!" he said kindly.

"you too Cody!" I said.

After that the first 3 periods went by quickly then it was lunch.

I sat in the girls bathroom and ate my sandwich. I never sit in the cafeteria because usually its just groups. For example the jock group has their own table, the popular snobby dramatic girls have one, the art freaks, the singers, the girl athletes and the gamers.

Before I knew it I was in my car driving home from school. It was friday so usually I watch a movie with my sisters. I have 3 sisters. Brooke, Carly and Tiffany. Brook is 14 and shes in grade 8. Carly is 14 too her and brooke are twins. They both have caramel hair and blue eyes. There popular and are fit and tanned.

Tiffany is 19 and is going into colloge this year. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Brooke plays volleyball and Carly plays softball and soccor.

"what movie tonight?" asked Carly.

"how about safe haven?" tiff says.

We all agreed and sat down with popcorn and drinks.
