Blending in... Not noticed... And forgotten in this huge world. I am not important, to the world or have a purpose. But I am still here fitting in with the crowd. My life is dull with no meaning. Family is an excuse for caring for others. No one really cares about me so what is the point of living.
The home I call my own is small and insignificant. I make little money, only enough to eat and pay rent. I get treated poorly by all I come in contact with. No one can save me from this fate.
The breeze blowing through my hair, making me eager to just fall off. Below I see people walking and cars going by. Nothing can save me... I can't continue to live...
I leaned forward feeling the air surround me. It was peaceful I finally felt relief and happiness.
It lasted for a moment until I could feel arms wrapped around my waist. My eyes flung open seeing the world below me. Suddenly I got pulled back off the edge. The person swung me around revealing his face. He looked familiar. Then I remembered him walking into my work and how he came and talked with me. He smiled with relief and pulled me close to his chest.
"I still care for you." He said in his smooth voice.
I looked into his eyes wondering how he knew what was on my mind. All the memories I had with him I had forgotten. My heart raced as I lifted my head to his lips, and faded away into his kiss.
