Right know they live mostly in the northern states. But in the mid 1900s , Bobcats lived in many mid western and eastern states of the United states . At one time they where found throughout most of North America from northern Mexico to sourthern Canada.
They mainly hunt rabbits and hares. But they hunt other animals to like rodents, birds,bats , and even adult deer, they usually eat that during Winter as well as lamb ,poultry and young pig if a ranch is near.
Approximately there are 725,00 to 1,020,000 remain in the wild.
