Luke
I follow Lexi deep into the woods. The moon was the only reason I could see what was in front of me.
"Lexi please wait up"
She sway from side to side grabbing a tree for stability. I look up to see we arrived at my old tree house. I help her up the creaky ladder.
"Why did you come here?" I ask.
"It's quiet and it reminds me of you" she laughs drinking what's left in her bottle throwing the remains in the woods.
"I thought you hated me"
"I do-it's just-I love you at the same time" she throws her hands in in air. "Why do you do that?" She pokes me in the chest with every word.
"I do love you" I cress her hand in mine. "And I am so sorry"
"Why? Why did you do it?" Tears threaten to trickle down her face.
All I can do is hold her. Being drunk as she is, she doesn't bother to retaliate. Her body sinks into mine and so do her tears.
I bring her over to the bean bag chair laying down with her. Lexi's eye slowly fade and she falls into a deep sleep.

I open my eyes and I'm in Luke's room. Him right beside me shirtless.
"Hey baby" Luke places his lips to mine. I don't stop him regardless to how I feel toward him at this point in time.
Luke begins to kiss my neck. I moan missing his touch. His sweet smell lingers in my nostrils.
"I've missed you" I open my eyes to reality.
"What baby?" Luke brushes my hair out my face.
"What am I doing here? Oh wait" I huff remembering what happened in small memories.
"What were you dreaming about?" He asks as I stand up from his lap.
"Just so you know this changes nothing. I'm not your girlfriend we are just-"
"Friends?" I question.
"No Luke, that's to hard for me-"
"Please just let me prove that I can be better. Let me at least be around you. I can't stop seeing you. I miss you. I promise not to fūck this up"
"Friends it is, I guess" she rubs her forehead.
I unbrace her is a hug holding on to her as if she was a million dollars. Even though she is worth more.
She pulls away, "Just friends. No strings. Nothing, but friends. You will not try anything with me. I just can't handle that-"
"Deal"
