I was so fascinated by humans. I found one in particular, a male. He came to the beach almost everyday. He was quite a beautiful male. or as the humans would say, " handsome. " I turned onto my back and lazily glided through the water. my hand drifted to my neck to play with the token given to me by my mother just before I left home. my eyes widened at the discover that it was gone. I must have left it on the rock. I darted up to the surface. I must find it. I frantically searched the waters, looking for my rock. I saw it, but I also saw someone dive off of it. I caught something glimmer in the sunlight. my token. I dove under the water again and slowly followed from below him. it was a human. THE human. I recognized the dark, curled locks atop his head. He was quite muscular. I wondered if I could snatch it and swim away or hide before he saw me. no, he'd see me for sure. other than my rock, the this part of the ocean was flat and bare. That was, until you reached the Coral reef. I poked my head out of the water and watched him get up and shake his head of curls. He was angelic, really. And I'd heard him sing before too. He was usually by himself. His voice was melodic and enchanting. My cheeks heated when I looked at him. He was breathe taking. I knew my eyes would be since they change with my mood, light teal-ish green colour, love. I was simply in love with this human boy I knew I would die of a broken heart if I couldn't be with him. I dove under the water and swam along, close to shore. I swam so I knew I was far enough away that no humans would come til tomorrow. I popped out of the water and slid up onto the warm sand, basking in the sun,
