Skyler's POV
All I can see from my window is a huge truck across the street. I'm guessing someone is moving across the street from me, which is gonna take a while to get used to since nobody lived for a few years now. I had about 3 weeks before school starts again and I don't how to feel about it, high school kind of sucks.

-few days later-

I was getting ready to head out to go to Ashley's, my best friend, who lived a couple minutes away. I wore Jean shorts with a white lose too and paired it with my converse, I just let down my long brown hair. Usually my mom drives me but it was pretty nice outside so I decided to just walk. As I was walking I saw the new house across from my house, it actually had cars on the driveway. Maybe new neighbors isn't such a bad thing.
I reached Ashley's after about 10 minutes. "Hey" I said as she opened the door. "Hey girl" she said letting me in. "What up" I said, sitting down on the couch, Ashley sat down next to me. "Eh, how much". "How was Florida" I asked taking out my phone. "It was nice" she said "what did you while I was gone". "Nothing at all" I laughed "But I think someone is moving across the street from me" I said. "Oh my god, really" she said "we should go and meet them" she said, standing up. "What?!! No?!" I said laughing. "Whyyyyyyyyy", I stood up next to her, "because I'm not creep" I said, we both stated laughing.
We hanged out all day at Ashley's house, and I decided to sleepover. When started waking back to my house to grab some stuff. We were about to cross the street when Ashley just stopped, "is this it?" She asked pointing to the house across from mine. "Yes, now let's go" I said, grabbing her hand. We walked in and went up to my room. I was going through my closet. "You know, the house is huge" Ashley said, looking out the window. "I know right" I said, also looking outside the window. "All right lets go" I said grabbing my stuff. We walked back to Ashley's. "I'm not ready for school" she said. "Same" I said, "i don't want summer to end". She was laughing "girl you didn't do anything anyway", "shut up" I said, also laughing.

We had breakfast and then I started heading home. I cross the street right after I left Ashley's. As I was walking I saw someone across the stress, at the mailbox. I didn't quite see him, but then he turned around. He was so cute. He looked up and smiled, and I smiled back. He started walking up the driveway. I think I'm gonna like have new neighbors.
