Chapter 9: An Old Friend

"And then we went out to look for you and, here we are." I finished. I had just told her everything that happened. Except for the part with Hyria. I'll tell her that later.

"So everyone that disappeared that day, it was only 15 minutes for them." She replied. "Except for Garroth. He stayed behind."

"Yeah." I replied. "But what have you been doing? Kiki said you randomly disappeared." I asked.

"Yeah. It was 3 or 4 years ago. I got an message from Pikoro. Saying that they really needed my help. Luke... Had died. And they urgently needed a lord because of a war. I didn't have  timemto explain to anyone." She said. "A few weeks later, after everything was resolved, I went to where Kiki was currently living, but she wasn't there. Where is she?"

"I saw her in Scalewind about a month ago, but she only stayed there for a day. I don't know where she is now." I replied.

"Huh. I was fun being with here and Leona. If you see her, tell her to come here." She said.

"Will do."

"Anyways, why did you come here?"

"Well, not only did I want to see you, but er need your help. It's about getting Garroth from the Irene Dimension. Not only that but there's a ton of other troubles we could really use your help with."

"Yes! I would love to help. I haven't done anything interesting in the past like two years! TAKE ME WITH YOU TO THE ALLIANCE!" She said. I laughed and she let out a chuckle.

"Alright. How about we leave tomorrow?"

"Of course. JEREMIAH!" She said. A guard came in.

"Yes, Lady Lucinda?" He said.

"Jeremiah is my Head in Guard. Jeremiah, I'm gonna leave for a few days. I'm gonna need you to take over. I'll take James on the trip. Tell him about it."

"Sure thing, m'lady." He left the room.

"James is my personal guard/ 2 In Command." She said. "Aphmau you don't know how happy I am to see again and to go on this adventure with you. I am so excited!" She happily replied. She set up a room for the 3 of us.

Laurance and Vylad were both sitting outside talking. I didn't here much when I passed by, but I believe they were talking about Zenix and the nether. I hope they become friends more.

Lucinda showed me around. Pikoro got way bigger from the last time I saw it. It looked so beautiful. A lot of it had changed.

Aphmau: Listen, Lucinda, I need to tell you something.

Lucinda: What is it?

Aphmau: It's... It's about your mother. Hyria.

Lucinda: My... Mother?

I explained everything to her. How Luke took her away from his wife when Hyria didn't want to leave the forest, and about how Hyria randomly helped us.

Lucinda: Huh.

She was sitting down. She looked really surprised. Not that I can blame her.

Lucinda: Well, I'm surprised I tought she was dead. I'll, definitely go visit her some time.

I didn't say anything. It really picked my curiosity why she reacted that way, but I just ignored it.

Lucinda: Listen, It's getting late. Let's go back to my house.

Aphmau: Yes. Let's.
