The Meeting

Chapter 1

I was enjoying a day a Walt Disney World with my mom, aunt, and uncle with my best friend flying in later that day. My older sister paid for the trip for all of us as a last family vacation before my best friend Natti and I moved with her and to give my mom a vacation after leaving her now ex.

I was waiting for my family to get off of Space Mountain; I was done before them because only three people can ride at a time, so I went on as a solo rider. I was put with two people out of a group of five. As I was waiting, the guy who sat in front of me on the ride came up to me. He was tall around six foot two with longish brown hair and was clearly toned. 

“Hi”

“Hi”

“Are you here with anyone?”

“Yeah my family.”

“Do you think they would mind if you hung out with my family today?”

“I don’t know. I don’t even know you and my friend is coming later today.”

“Oh right, I’m Rocky Lynch and as for your friend she can join us. My brother Ryland will be joining us latter today.”

“The Rocky Lynch, lead guitarist and musical genius of R5?”

Yes that’s me and you’re clearly a fan.”

“That I am, now let’s go talk to my mom to see if I can hang out with you guys for the day.”

Rocky and I walked over to where my family had just gotten of the ride.

“Hey, mom can I hang out with the Lynches for the day?”

“Natti’s coming today.”

“I know Rocky already said she could join us.”

“Well Rocky who’s all in your group?”

“My siblings Riker, Ellington, Rydel, Ross, and I and Ryland is joining us later.”

“Alright Nici go have fun.”

“Thank you Mom.”

“You’re welcome.”

Rocky led me back over to where his family was waiting.

“What took you so long?”

“I was evening out our numbers for rides.”

“What about when Ryland gets here?”

“Her friend is coming later today.”

“Alright so who is this?”

“I’m Nici Pierce.”

“It’s nice to meet you, I’m Ellington, or Ratliff, the taller blond is Riker, the shorter one is Ross and the only girl is Rydel, no lets go do some rides”

The six of us headed to the front of Tomorrow land to do the Buzz Light-year ride. On the ride I sat with Rocky while Ross and Riker sat together and Rydel and Ellington sat together. Rocky ended up having the best score out of all of us. After we were done there we headed to Big Thunder Mountain. As we were walking down Main Street USA Rocky put his arm around me. Feeling his arm around me caused me to tense up at first but then I relaxed into him.

“Nici is everything alright?”

“Yeah, why?”

“You seemed afraid when I touched you.”

“It wasn’t you I promise, it just reminded me of some things but I’m oaky.”

“Alright just tell me if I make you uncomfortable.”
