A New Chapter For Us {PLUS A MAJOR MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR}

Today was the filming for the music video of G.R.8.U, and I'm so incredibly proud of these boys. One moment they're joking about their ABC's with no true idea of their meaning in English, and the next their filming for the song Ravi helped write and produce. I've quite honestly never been around for filming, just the time after that. They've learned so much, not only in English, but in themselves.

Edwin watched the filming of the video off to the side, gently tapping his hand to his side to the beat in excitement. The song was really sweet and endearing. They lyrics made him feel a certain, warmness. It was almost like Ken was spewing these words to him when his part would come up. They had such emotion with every syllable, Edwin could not be prouder. Though most of the video was backwards, he enjoyed the parts where he could hear it forward when they danced.

"Perfect!" The director smiled as the last shot was filmed for the video. Cheers and clapping erupted from the staff, VIXX taking their bows with heavy breaths - exhausted from the work. Glancing around for his chance, Edwin ran over to the group, his lanky legs awkwardly shuffling to them. "I'm so proud of you guys!" He grinned with pearly whites.

"Aa, thank you!" N first jumped to hug Edwin, so excited for the filming, "I know this must've been weird for you to witness, the whole process... But, I speak for all of us, it was so comforting having you here." N nodded with a small smirk.

Edwin let out a small chuckle, "I'm very happy to hear that." Attempting to keep his calm around Ken, he gently hugged him, murmuring "I love you" as to not be obvious. Ken, with red cheeks, nodded as they pulled away. Soon saying his proud words to every member, Edwin invited the idea of going home to lounge and relax after the hard days work.

"You know, Edwin, this is like - a new chapter for us! We're all new for this concept and you're here with us. It's just so great. You'll be here with us through thick and thin." Ken smiled as they walked to the van, Edwin soon splitting off to his own car.

Yeah, he's right. I will always be there for them. New chapter or not, they're my students --- and my friends.
