My only wish , my only dream

Chapter 1: New girl

I'm not used to this shining sun because I used to live in a not so bright town. "Alissa, its time you got up and gotten ready for school," a gentle voice said from my doorway. I nodded in reply.

The door was gently shut then all I heard was footsteps tailing off. I flung myself up , and wandered towards my dresser, I glared at my new uniform, "here comes the new girl", I whispered while I put the uniform on. I wandered towards the mirror to brush my long brown hair and put my headband on then I wandered downstairs to be greeted by a cute little furry face starring at me, I gave him a snuggle,"be a good boy Dakota",I said and skipped out the door with my bag in hand while waving goodbye. The sun shone even more brighter when I went outside. I glanced at my watch to see if I was on schedule , which I was not, I sprinted off as fast as I could.

I eventually reached my new school. I checked my watch to see that i arrived just in time. I walked up the steps and noticed that a group of girls were staring and giggling. This made me feel bad , like they were making fun of me or something.

I hurried into the gigantic building. The look of relief was then written all over my face. I had been given a timetable in the post so i could get to class without any hassle. The bell hadn't gone off yet so I skipped over to my class. My home room had only a few students inside when i entered, the teacher was sitting at her desk.

"Hello miss, im the new student", i said politely. she looked at me with a pissed off face which made me feel like i shouldn't of spoken to her at all. She then instantly pointed towards a desk which was at the back , "don't expect me to introduce you to everyone", she grumbled. "Okay", I said nervously and quickly walked over to the desk I was assigned , before long the bell went off and the rest of the class came in.

I glanced at them as they came in and as soon as they saw me they started talking. I looked down after noticeing this but it's only natural , because I'm new. As I was distracted with my thoughts and loud thump in my desk scared me. I looked up and saw a blonde cute looking boy with an annoyed face. "That's my seat you newbie", he shouted. "S-sorry , t-the-"I stuttered but I stopped because he banged his fist on the table again.

I heard footsteps come nearer and nearer, and as I distracted myself again the boy raised a fist , I shut my eyes to prepare for the punch but It didn't came only I heard that teacher shouting, I opened my eyes and saw the teacher holding him by the collar. "YOU DONT BELONG IN THIS HOMEROOM!", she shouted and dragged him out of the room and shut the door when she came back in.

"If you haven't noticed we have a new student and as you know mister out there has come into the wrong home room", she said and adjusted her glasses. She sat down and then the rest of the class spoke amongst themselves.

I breathed with relief and just fiddled my thumbs till the bell rang.

Lunch came before I knew it and every lesson till then i left the class first , still no one came to talk to me but I'm okay with that, I'm used to being alone.

I was sitting at a table in the corner of the canteen, as I was surprisingly the first to get here I managed to get food without making people unhappy or getting humiliated. I was lost in thought once agin that I didn't see the girls from this morning approach me.

There snickers brought me back to my senses. I turned towards them,"hi"I spat out. "Looks you have a bit of courage now", one snickered. "You won't be once I do this", another said and poured there water over me.

The canteen erupted in laughter. I was about to stand up and run..
"Be brave , stand up for yourself", a voice went through my head. I took a deep breath and smiled.

The girls looked shocked. "You won't be smiling soon", one said and she grabbed her friends milk and was about to pour it over me when I caught her wrist and forced her wrist backwards so I poured into her. She screamed ,"you little bitch", another said and held her hand towards my head when I grabbed her hand and within a second she was on the floor. I smiled and just walked out.

"We'll make your life hell bitch", one called, "looking forward to it", I replied waving my hand. I walked to the bath room to clean myself and looked in the mirror, my eyes were now an icy grey colour, I breathed in and out for a few minutes and splashed water on myself, once I dried myself my eyes were now blue again. This was one reason why I didn't have friends.

I now regret saying I'm looking forward to it , I should of just let them mock me. The bell went and I took my timetable out, I have economics, I smiled and walked to my class.

Luckily my class was near the bathrooms so I walked in as everyone was settling in , I looked towards the teacher who looked so nice and as soon as she saw me she gave me a bright smile, "aw, nice to meet you I'm Lucy , please sit over there", she said and pointed towards an empty table. I walked over there was an apron , which obviously means we're cooking , wait what am I thinking , of course we're cooking.

I huffed at myself for thinking silly thoughts. "Now you know that it's nearing test week , and as I'm so nice you will be doing the exam right now", she smiled at the class. There were moans and groans everywhere. I chuckled at this because I was okay with it. "Now at the back and here at the front are ingredients you can use , I have asked if you could skip next lesson to do this so you will be here till the end of the day", she smiled again, "you must bake me a type of cake, now begin", she said and clapped once.

The other students grabbed ingredients to bake and I just waited till everyone sat down. I took all the necessary ingredients needed for a sponge cake and I took colouring, cream, coco powder and milk chocolate as well.

My idea was to make two ordinary sponge cakes but on the inside there would be milk chocolate and the other would be white chocolate , I made the chocolate one stay a brown colour, and the white chocolate one look like a white chocolate colour then In Between the cakes I put put buttercream there. On the outside it looked normal , I pasted the whole cake with butter cream icing and did a ring of cream on top.

"Stop, time is up", Lucy said and everyone put down whatever they were doing. She then came round and looked at everyone's , she looked confused when she came to look at mine. after she looked ,she started from the front and made her way to the back while tasting each cake. Everyone's looked cool due to there effort on the design, once miss came to mine and cut it her eyes widened as she saw what was inside.

"Amazing, an original design outside to mislead the eater but on the inside it is like heaven", she said, "class come try this", she said and cut the cake onto plates and gave them out. Everyone's faces lit up as soon as they tasted it. She gave me a bright smile ,"il tell you all your scores after test week has finished , now clean up so you can go home", she said and once agin clapped once.

Soon my station was clean and miss stole the rest of my cake and was munching on it happily. The bell went off and of course I was the first to leave.
