When I'm Lying In Your Arms (A Yu-Gi-Oh! Puzzleshipping Fanfiction!)

Chapter 1

*Comment your song of the day!*

     "Yugi , could you go to the grocery store and buy me some garlic!" A woman with short brown hair  shouted from the kitchen while her hands are  busy with cooking food for dinner.

        Footsteps sound resonance through the living room that connected to the kitchen , a boy with big round amethyst eyes that fit perfectly in his small pale face approached his mother "Can I buy chocolate too ?" he asked with pleading voice accompanied by his infamous 'Puppy Eyes'                 

     His mom sighed "All right , but don't buy too much okay ? You will have toothache" His mother reminded him and Yugi nodded enthusiastically and he took the money on the dining table where his mom left."I'm going mom , bye!" he said and dashed to the grocery store.

He could hear his mom shouted 'Be Careful Yugi!'.

     Yugi giggled with wide smile glued to his red lips "Chocolate here I come" he said afterwards licked his lips. He can't wait to quench his wants of chocolate. Good Heaven Chocolate.

     When he set foot on the grocery , his eyes just getting brighter with happiness. He proceed to enter the grocery store.But he had to find garlic just like his mom asked to before he got his own chocolates! After roaming the enormous grocery store for a few minutes , he finally got the garlic. The garlic that can make people emotional.

     Now the exciting part.

     He walked as calm as he can which is almost impossible to the chocolate section. It's been months since Yugi ate chocolate because of an idiot toothache. When he arrived at the chocolate section , he felt like in heaven like imagine you're a hardcore fans and your idol is there.

     The only difference is Yugi and Chocolate , he took two bars of Hershey's Cookies and Cream chocolate which he's in the mood for and dart to the cashier and thank god there's no line meaning he can have the chocolate soon.

     The cashier though looked at him in strange way , well who wouldn't. He was grinning all himself like a female students have crush on her senior. Yugi paid for the goods and sprinted  back to the house as he hummed a tone with a chesire cat smile on his face.

     He take right turn that lead to his one and only houses but his steps slowly stopping also the humming , his smile disappeared and his eyes are no more shining with happiness moments ago. His eyes reflected a red burning flames the most unfortunate engulfing his house.He droop the shopping bag that was grasped in his petite hands.

     He ran to the house as fast as his short legs can take him and went inside the house "MOM! DAD!" he shouted.He ran to the kitchen , the last place where his mom is but she's not there. He coughed due to too many smoke entered his lungs. He felt weak , ready to give up with the heat that surrounded him but no he can't. 

     He have to find his parents.

     He went upstairs and checked his parents' room but also empty without any trace of someone being there , he coughed more and getting harder to breath the more seconds he was there. He opened the door that lead to his bedroom and empty too "MOM! DAD!" he shouted again hoping for a response.

    But none can be heard.

     His body finally gave up , his body tumbled to the floor and started to breathing heavily 'Mom , Dad' he thought and his eyes are getting heavier each seconds."No" he whimpered before he slipped to the darkness.

     Beep Beep Beep Beep

     A sound from a computer-type and muttering filled the room. Yugi's consciousness slowly coming back to him , his fingers twitch in a sign he was about to awake.

     "Mr.Mutou , can you hear me ?" A smooth voice said. Yugi's fingers twitched more and a low groaned came out from Yugi's mouth. He blinked his eyes slowly adjusting with the light that lit up the whole room. An oxygen mask covered his mouth and nose that helped him for breathing.

     A monitor beside him showing Yugi's heartbeat which was stable at the moment "You're awake Mr.Mutou" the same voice before said. He turned to his right and saw a man like in the age of 50 with white hair dominating , wrinkles on his face and strong determination of dark blue eyes "My name is Dr.Hendra. I'm in charge of you while you are still here" he introduced himself as he gave me a warm smile.

     "Am I in hospital ? What happen ?" he asked with a tired voice "We found you trapped in fire" he said.

     Fire ? What fire ?

     But then he remembered , his heartbeat is now increasing "My House! Where's my parents ?!" he frantically asked with a trembling voice , the doctor put his hands on Yugi's shoulders attempting to calm him down "Sshh , calm down now. You have to take it easy Mr.Mutou" he said and Yugi closed his eyes trying to do as what Mr.Hendra said.Then he opened again revealing a sad amethyst eyes.

     "An agent will come here and interview you about what happen. Then you can ask about your parents.I know nothing since I haven't heard another information about this accident" the doctor answered.

     Bad thoughts starting to fill Yugi's mind , what if his parents never made it ? What if they're dead ? Yugi bit his trembling lips and trying to hold back his tears. He shouldn't infer bad things , he need to believe that his parents are survived.

     The door knocked and Mr.Hendra said "The agent is here , try to be calm alright" he said and opened the door to greet the agent. They seems have a little talk before the doctor left them both in the room.

     The agent closed the door and took a seat beside Yugi "Hi , you're Yugi Mutou right ?" he asked and I notice there are a similiarities between the agent and me. The hair , his hair is messy and the tip is crimson like his eyes while mine is amethyst. Beside that he had golden bangs that streaked up.

    Yugi nodded silently "I'm sorry about what just happen to you" he said and he noticed a single tear rolled down on his pale cheek "Hey , don't cry. Everything will be alright" but that made Yugi's tears rolled down more.

     With his right hand , the agent wiped his tears away "What's your name sir ?" Yugi asked in small voice , the agent smiled a little "My name is Atemu Sennen" he answered. Yugi gripped his blanket tight and took a deep breath 

     "Where are my parents ? Did they survive ?" he asked and looked to the strong crimson eyes. Atemu sighed and pulled his hands away "You want to know the truth ?" he asked and slowly Yugi nodded , ready to hear what he had to say.

     Atemu took a deep breath "We can't find your parents there" he said and Yugi fell to the utter silent and eyes widen in fear and sadness "But there's more" Atemu continued. Yugi's breath became unsteady and once again his heartbeat increased 

     "Your house is set on fire by someone , it seems like they want to kill both your parents and you" he stated leaving Yugi in a state of shock and his body started to shaked.

     Who would do that to his family and why ?

River : Phew  , chapter one all done.Now I deserve a good sleep

Yugi : *starts to cry* how could you , you killed my parents *ran to Yami and hugs him*

Yami : River , how dare you make my Hikari cry! You'll pay for this!

River : *Hide behind the couch* I'm so sorry Yugi , please don't hate me. I will have a unicorn to revived them

Yami : Come here you motherfucker!

River : *Runs for life*
