Zoe's POV

"No seriously Jade all jokes aside I really think Nate likes ya." I say.

"No seriously Zoe all jokes aside why would you think that?" She mimics me laughing.

"Because no boy would help you in you bad times and make you feel better, even though..." Jade cuts me off.

"Even though what, I was a slut, exactly Zoe that is what I am telling ya he wouldn't like me in a million years, he is just being a friendly person." She shot back.

"Ok fine, he don't like you, but you like him don't ya." I ask.

"No, of course I don't, I am well over boys Zoe you know that, I sick of the slutty nuisance. I wanna be me again. I wanna be in the no boys zone." She scoffs fiddling with her fingers.

"Alright." I answer not wanting to upset her more than she already is." But I can assure you that Nate does like ya." I jump off the bed laughing running towards the door.

"Zoe Mcartney shut the fuck up, you just focus on your love life for now." She shouts throwing a pillow at me.

Jade decided to stop by at my house for a day or two, so that fucking ex-boyfriend doesn't know were she is, cuz as far as me and Jade know him he always make sure that he gets back what he came for and seeing that James and Jade were together for a year, and loved each other a lot, he wouldn't give up on her so easily.
But I ain't going to lie they were a cute couple together, until the asshole slept with some other whore, which tore Jade apart, she hated everyone, and then her and her mum had a huge argument which caused Jade to do all this slutty shit, and as being best friends with her since 1st grade I know she didn't enjoy any of it.

"Hey Jade, mind me asking you something." I ask her.

"Go ahead." She replied facing me.

"How did James get into the house." I question.

"I don't know, Nate and me were tryna figure that out the other day, as far as I know I never go to the backyard to leave the door open and windows to the house I open them but then close them as soon as I leave the rooms I have opened them in, and as for the keys only me, mum and Sarah have it." She recalls.

"Did you ask him." I try to find out.

"Yeah, but when I did he changed the topic." She tells me.

For a couple of minutes there was silence in the room because me and Jade were tryna work out how he got in.

"Jade, I know it sounds stupid but I think you should go see him, because we both know he ain't gonna give up that quick." I remind her.

"I was just going to say the same thing, but I am scared because if I don't listen to him he will do something that I will regret." She answers.

"Who says you are going alone, me and Nate will come with you but just wont be visable to him." I assure her.

"No, not Nate, he has done to much for me, just me and you." She refused.

"Ok, do you still have his number." I ask her raising a brow.

"No, but being with him for a year I remember his number." She smiles.

"Ok then.. Put it on speaker." I nod.

She dials his number but then stares at me, I nod at her gesturing its a good thing to do, and I am with her, and with that she sends me a smile before she presses the call button while putting it on speaker.
I'm not sure if he has changed his number.
