1 cup of (2 sticks) margarnine
Or butter , soften
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated suger
2 eggs
1 tea spoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tea spoon baking soda
1 tea spoon salt (optional)
3 cups Quaker oats ( quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup of raisins ( optional)Steps!
1: heat oven to 350 Fahrenheit
2:beat together margarine and sugar untill creamy
3: add egg and vanilla to the batter , beat well
4: add combined flour baking soda, cinnamon and salt , mix well
5: stir in oats
6: get two table soon , scoop the batter on to the pan ( spray cooking butter on the pan )
7:bake 10-12 min or until golden brown
8:cool 1 min on cookie sheet ; remove to wire rack
9: Enjoy !!!!!Makes about 4 dozen
