The sounds of plates and drinks clinking mixed with cheesy bar music fills my ears. The scent of alcohol and body odor fill the air.
Across the room, my brown haired man smiles and flirtatiously slaps another man's shoulder. He was a man with sleek black hair and bright eyes.
Everything surrounding them in my vision is blurred and it's as if my eyes can only focus on them. My face feels completely numb and I know i've had too many but I can't stop the words from coming out of my mouth.
"Another one?" I gesture towards the bartender.
She pours another shot in my glass and without hesitation, I gulp it down. Not even barring the taste, only wanting the numbing sensation to grow stronger.
Memories of him flash through my brain. The feeling of his lips when they first touched mine. His smile, god I loved his fucking smile. He hated everything about it but I love it more than anything else. The way his eyes would light up and crinkle every time he did it was truly the most beautiful sight i've ever seen.
I look across the bar and see the same smile spread across his face, except it's no longer a smile towards me. It's a smile towards that new man.
My heart literally aches at the sight and I begin to feel adrenaline pumping through my veins. I try to control myself so I don't look insane but out of Impulse I slam the shot glass down in anger, causing the glass to shatter on the bar counter.
"Is everything okay Sir?" The bartender asks me in a fake polite voice.
"I'm fine." I sigh in annoyance, resting my face in my hands.
My head feels heavy and my patience for bullshit is not very high. I catch myself breathing heavy as adrenaline remains pumping throughout my body.
I look up to the bartender as she grabs one wet and one dry rag, making her way towards me again.
"I'll clean that up for y-
"Go." I cut the bartender off.
"Excuse me sir?"
"Do you not understand English Lady? I said go." I snap.
I did not intentionally plan to hurt her feelings or cause trouble but she is my closest outlet for my anger and I will selfishly accept her as a victim with pure gratitude.
"Sir, I'm sorry but I have to clean this up. It is my job." She attempts to have a hard dominant tone with me but fails miserably. I can tell under that hard shell she is shaking in her boots, not knowing what I am capable of.
I stand up, my size intimidating her even further, her innocent big brown eyes looking up at me, instantly regretting using such a tone against me.
I stand there, just staring at her dead in the eyes. She gulps and moves her hand to quickly clean up the mess I brought upon the bar but I grab her wrist and slowly lean in, whispering in her ear.
"Just a little heads up, in case you didn't notice, I happen to have a pocket knife on me." I smirk sinisterly.
I feel her try to control her rapid shaking movements, being terrified of me.
"Don't make a single noise. If you scream or even look at someone for help I promise you I will slice your throat in half a second." I growl in her ear.
Her silence annoys me so I roughly push her, shaking her body with one hand and then pull her back to whisper in her ear again.
"Do we have an understanding?" I look her in the eyes.
