LOVE BITES

CHAPTER 5

"What do you mean what?" asked Ashton confusedly

"How am I to meet your parents I know nothing about you besides your name" I said flying my arms around like a mad lady

"Oh, I never thought of that" he muttered rubbing his chin and looking off into the distance

"WAIT HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME, I NEVER TOLD YOU!!" he yelled looking at me sternly

"The doctor told me" I replied calmly not scared of his tone

"Oh, so you stayed and chatted with him" he asked getting mad again

"Yea, is that so wrong" I said raising my voice

"YES IN FACT IT IS IN MY WORLD WHEN A MAN AND WOMEN ARE TOGETHER, THE WOMEN DON'T GO FLIRTING AND FLAUNTING WITH OTHE MEN" He screamed

"WELL I DIDN'T ASK FOR YOU TO BRING ME HERE I WAS FINE WHERE I WAS!!! I HAD THE PERFECT LIFE EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I HAD AN AMAZING FAMILY AND YOU TOOK IT AWAY FROM ME, ALL OF IT!!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs

"YOUR RIGHT, WHY DID I BRING YOU HERE I COULD'VE PICKED ANYONE ELSE BUT NO I PICKED YOU, A GIRL WITH NO LIFE BUT THE BOOKS NO FRIENDS HER FAMILY NEVER REALLY LOVED HER, THE LOSER KID THE ONE PEOPLE MAKE FUN OF, THE BOTTOM OF THE PIT THE LOWEST LEVEL EVER. WHY WHY WHY COULDN'T I HAVE PICKED ANYONE ELSE ESPECIALLY WITH BETTER LOOKS?” He yelled looking over my body with disgust

Those comments really got to me because they were true; I would always tell myself that I had a great life when I didn't. Then I felt the tears fall and I couldn't stop them he hurt me emotional, and physically, I was a wreck. "His eyes flashed with sadness until they were restored back to his mean side "Get dressed" was what he said before he left abruptly. What was up with these vampires and leaving without goodbyes? I decided to take a shower, after a long 20 minutes of relaxation I was done, then as I walked back into my room there was a girl sitting on my bed.

"Um who are you?” I asked nervously

"Oh im Nia, I'm Ashton's sister" she replied smiling happily

"Oh cool, but why are you in my room" I asked with unknown confidence

"Well Ashton asked me to help you dress and teach you about him and our world all in an hour" she said all in one breath

"AN HOUR" I exclaimed, "It takes me an hour just to get my hair done?" I said

"We vampires are super fast, I will be down in like 5 minutes giving us much time for your studies" she replied

"Great" I muttered as she went to grab her bag that she placed by my door.

After about 5 fast minutes, I couldn't recognize myself. My long black hair was in spirals and had this glossy shine to it, not to mention super bouncy. My face had little makeup just black eyeliner to define my bold brown eyes and a little blush and a lightish purple color that was to die for. I looked HOTT!!! Now on to the white dress, it was strapless and had a light blue ribbon around it; the dress stopped a couple inches below my knee. The top half above the ribbon was tight fitting and hugged me smoothly. While the bottom half of the dress was ruffles that were very elegant.

Ok time for you studies ok number 1. Astons full name is Aston Logan Mentis 2. His favorite color is green 3. He loves drawing but never shows anyone his painting. "Got it?" she asked, I just nodded ok. "Now on to the hard questions" 1.your not in Maryland anymore your in our kingdom she said" "WHAT? YOUR KINGDOM" I yelled. "Yes my parents are the king and queen, and my brother and I are prince and princess,” she said slowly like she was confused that I didn't know? " "Now it makes sense,” I said thinking back to what Jared said earlier. "Ok, moving on" Commented Nia 2.you must not disrespect our kingdom or anything about ingot it? " She said "yup" I responded "ok and last but not least you must act like you love Aston, even though I know it will super hard." she said chuckling "great" I muttered again. "Come on it'll be easy” After another half an hour on the systems of royal arrangement and ranking she lead me out the room

As I looked down the Hallways I saw many pictures of royal people hanging on the walls. I wondered what the family would be like would they be super cruel or just as tad mean. I was getting kinda scared and nervous I didn't know what to expect. Nia stopped right at a big door with engravings of vampires ruling the world. "Are you ready?” she said looking at me worriedly "yea I think so?” I said giving her a reassuring smile. Then she opened the door, their were ancient things all over the place they were vases, bookcases, a sofa, desk chairs. This room gave me a bad vibe a really bad vibe. There were 2 people sitting on one couch, so I guessed they were the king and queen, and Aston was sitting on the other couch. The king a had Brown hair and green eyes he was wearing a long robe with a suit on the inside, while the queen had Black hair brown eyes and a red simple dress

"Mom, dad this is Jade" Nia said Pointing towards me before she left

'Hello" I said politely

"Hello Jade have a seat,” said the King

 Then I felt a pair of brown eyes on me they were Ashton’s his eyes were wondering everywhere on my body I felt a little uncomfortable. I then walked toward the couch where Aston was sitting and sat next to him extremely close. He seemed to stiffen at my closeness while his mother raised her eyebrows at his reaction. Then finally came to his senses and put his arm around me pulling me even closer. Smiling down on me like I was a precious Jewel

"Ok So Jade tell me about yourself?" The King asked

"Well what do you want to know?" I respond

"Well where did you come from" he asked

"Well I came from Maryland in America" I replied

"Interesting" Said the King

"Why did you take interest in my son, is it for the money, the power, what is it spit it out" snapped the queen

"MOM" said Aston

"Shut Up Aston I wanna know her answer" said the Queen looking at me with hate

"Well actually He took interest in me?" I said looking at her with great confidence

"My son was raised well he would never fall for something so ugly and disgusting as you, Your a human EWWW" she commented her eyes filled with hate

"Well he did and how dare you insult humans when your no better yourself" I yelled before I could stop myself. Everyone fell quiet the expression on the queens face was priceless, the expression on the kings face was amused and the one on Aston was shock

"HOW DARE YOU, I AM ABOVE YOU, YOU ARE NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL" yelled the Queen looking into my eyes as they turned red. After about 10 seconds her face went to complete shock

"SHE'S A WITCH" she exclaimed looking towards me

"Darling she's not a witch, I don't know what she is but I’m positive she's not a witch,” The king explained calmly 

"Well how do we know if our son is really in love with this thing" The queen whined

"Well, they have to prove their love to us" he said smiling 

"WITH A KISS" Said the Queen with a wicked smile

"Yea that should do it,” said the King looking in between the both of us

       I felt Astons’ arm stiffen around me his eyes were in a gaze, then he looked down at me with a smile. Before I knew it his soft lips were on mine, at first it was just a stage kiss the it turned into something else, need, desire, passion, love. Those were the words that explained our kiss. Then I pulled back needing air, then Ashton eyes turned red because I pulled away and then they flashed back to normal after a second. He looked lovestrucked and wouldn't take his eyes of me like I was his prey or something Then I heard the queen sigh then she got up abruptly and left.

"Will you Love birds excuse me, I must go comfort my wife. Nice meeting you Jade" The king said before leaving once the door shut I looked to Aston and said

"You have lots of explaining to do,” I said

"I know,” said Ashton running his hands through his hair
