There was a young boy one night, who had trouble sleeping.
Not because he was having nightmares, nor his big sisters snoring or the conference meeting his dad , who was a lawyer, was having in his office. The boy couldn't sleep because of the creature in his front yard.
At first any other person would think it was an old man taking a midnight stroll, but the boy had been able to see what it really was.
It was a man in a hoodie carrying a baseball bat.
He was looking for something... or someone.
The boy however wasn't exactly scared of the man as you'd expect from a child his age.
He didn't know why he wasn't scared... there was no explanation.
Just as the boy was going to call his father to call the police another figure appeared from the bushes, a little girl in a little ballerina costume walked up to the man "You're Alvin aren't you?" the girl said in a squeaky yet flat tone.
The man laughed "so you're Six's sister aren't you" he mocked.
The girl simply frowned. The boy looked at the scene in confusion.
"Look kid I don't have time for you today I'm looking for someone" Alvin said darkly.
"My brother?"the girl finished.
Alvin turned around "Of course your brother! After the way he betrayed me the way he did."
It was then the boy decided to intervene. He ran to get his dad from his conference "Dad! Dad! In the backyard come see!" He yelled dragging his stubborn father to the window where he was watching the conversation.
When his father realized what was happening he ran outside and started screaming "get outta here! Who do you think you are, with a bat?! You're lucky you didn't hurt the girl, I'll inform the police of this!" Alvin ran off, loosing his metal bat and likely to never show his face again.
The little ballerina, disappearing.
