Long way down

Chapter 1

  My name is Aubrey Deyes. That's right; I'm related to Alfie and Poppy Deyes. He's my brother and she's my sister. And yes, that also means I know Zoella and many other youtubers. In fact, I live with a lot of them. I live in a huge apartment building where the people in the apartment mostly live in twos. Zoe and Alfie, Poppy and Sean (her boyfriend), Joe Sugg and Caspar Lee, Troye Sivan and Tyler Oakley, Louise and Craig with their daughter, Marcus Butler and Naomi Smart, Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman and finally I live in a room with my best friend Gabby. All the youtubers in the building are seriously close. We're all like best friends and we spend most of our free time doing things together. I am a youtuber myself and I am verified which I am super proud of. So that pretty much is all you need to know right now.

"BREEEEEEEE" Caspar's voice echoed through the apartment and I knew he was coming to wake me up. It's my own fault. I did tell him to come and wake me up but I didn't expect him to do it at half 7 in the morning. I wanted him to wake me up because Gabby had to go to London last night for a meet and greet today and so I couldn't rely on her to wake me up. Caspar offered to wake me up instead and so I agreed and let Caspar stay in the guest room for the night since I don't like being on my own. "Bre I mean it get your lazy ass out of bed before I seriously jump on you!" He was now stood next to my bed and I knew that when he said he'd jump on me, that crazy South African was not joking. Just as I prepared myself for the light to burn my eyes as I was about to open them I felt a force hit me.

"Casper you noob, get of me right now. You're meant to give me chance to get up before you jump on me. That's not cool man" I say, but I can't be mad at him and I begin to laugh. Caspar looks up at me and smiles. "Oh look, you've woke up." He smirks at me as I rolled over to the other side of my double bed and got up.

"I can't believe you've just done that to me Casp! I thought we were friends" I say, pretending to be hurt. He walks over to me and gives me a hug. "You should choose your friends wisely bitch" he says before winking at me and walking out of my bedroom. I laugh lightly to myself as I sit down on my bed and check my phone. Going through some of my notifications and then replying to messages from my parents I finally decide to get ready for the day.

I was meant to be going shopping with the girls today (Zoe, Poppy, Louise, Tanya and Naomi) as its Jim's birthday and we are going out to the clubs later tonight. I'm quite a confident person when it comes to the group drinking. Think about it like this, there's always one or two of those people in your group of friends that gets way too drunk on nights out, yeah, that friend is me. Closely followed by Joe Sugg. Joe and I are really close and we have been for a while now. I always feel like I can be myself around him and he won't think I'm crazy.

As I open my wardrobe to get dressed my phone starts to ring. It was Zoe facetiming me. I answered the call of course and put my phone on the side table so I can talk to her while I look what I'm going to wear and get ready.
"Bre babyyy, you ready for today? Shopping is callinggg!" she shouts to me as I chuckle at her.

"Of course I'm ready Sugg, what type of Deyes girl would I be if I wasn't ready for shopping ay?" I smirk at her.

"Ooo yes, of course. Have you decided what you're wearing?" she asks me with a smile.

"Okay that's one thing I haven't done. Caspar came and woke me up about 20 minutes ago and I still need to choose what to wear. I think this calls for my fairy suggmother to get her ass up and help me choose!" I say back, smiling. That's kind of mine and Zoe's thing. Other than Gabby, Zoe is pretty much my sister as I've known her for so long. She's slightly older than me but as she always says "the older, the wiser." I guess she's kind of right.

"I'll be there in 5" she says winking and then ending the call.

As I have some time before we actually have to get going shopping with it being so early, I decide to text Zoe and tell her not to eat anything and then going to make us some breakfast.

I go into my kitchen and put on the kettle. I get Greek yogurt and some fresh fruits out of my fridge and begin putting it into 2 bowls. Adding a little bit of muesli to mine as Zoe doesn't like it too much. When the kettle has finished boiling, I make myself and Zoe a cup of peppermint tea, as I know it's her favorite at the moment. Just as I've finished off, Zoe walks into my apartment wearing pajamas and carrying a big bag.

"Bre I brought you your jeans and onesie backkkk!" Zoe shouts.

"Great Zo thank you! Put them on there and come and eat with me. I say pointing to the table.

We sit and eat and drink our tea while we gossip about random things. Once we were finished we went into my room to pick what I was going to wear as Zoe had brought an outfit with her.

She wore a stripy top and blue dungarees with black converse and then we chose for me blue high waisted jeans, a black crop top and a burgundy cardigan. I decided to go for heels since Tanya had text me and said she didn't want to wear them alone and so I put on platform boots with my outfit.

Zoe had her makeup quite natural with a bold lip and her hair half up half down with a bun. My makeup was also really natural but with a matte nude lip and I had my hair down with bits tied round the back of my head.

We text the others and let them know that we're ready to go and tell them to meet us in the buildings reception. After that, me and Zoe excitedly walk down to the reception, ready for a day of shopping.
