“psst.. wake up.”
“Hmm?.. what.. who are you?.”
“Shh, come with me.”
“W- where?”
“To a land.”
“A land?... What land?,”
…..... Stands before a mystical door
“go ahead, walk in.”
“But what if I get lost?”
“You won't be lost, no one is ever lost.. only... forgotten.”
(Children playing all around in the park)
“Ha ha , you can't catch me”, Says a child in the distance
“Hello,”. says a tiny voice
“ Oh hello, um... can you help me, what is this place? It looks oddly familiar”
“Don't you remember?,you were born here... it's your memories”
“My.. memories?”
“Yes.”
(She turns around to look at the tiny little girl behind her)
“Who-” … she stares into her eyes
“who am I? You meant.”
(The teen kneels down in mesmerism)
“Yea.. who are you?”
The tiny girl replies happily while playing with her little dress.
“I'm you.”
“you're me?” She whispers in disbelief
(The little girl walks up to her and begins to play with her hands and hair)
“wow.. so this is what I am like when I'm older?”
(The teen simply stares at the young girl that she once was)
“Um.. yea.. I guess”
(Tears begin to build up in her eyes as the elder girl holds her little hands and starts to laugh)
“Where did you go?” She asks her
“I never left.”
“Well I will never let you go.”
“You don't have to, all you have to do is remember me, always....remember me.
Don't leave me in the dark alone, I still haven't gotten rid of that fear.
(Tears fall down and a promise is made)
“I- I promise... I'll always remember you.. always.. and guess what”
“What?”
“Neither have I” she smiles with tears streaming down her face
The wind picks up and they stay holding on to each other once again in the land of forgotten children. But this time...
Not forgotten.
The end.
