"Lex, it's me, Sam." I pulled him towards me for a hug. My breathing was quick and shallow when I replied.

"Thank you so much for waking me up." I told him in his ear, tears falling down my face, soaking his shirt.

"You were having that nightmare again, weren't you?" He asked. I nodded. He gave me another hug.

"You're okay." He kept repeating to me. These nightmare make me feel weak.

"Lex, you aren't weak. You are the strongest person I know."

"I thought that Dean was the strongest person."

"He's not, and whoever told you that lied. You've gone through so much crap and survived, nightmares and all." I smiled.

"I missed you Sammy," I replied softly.

"I missed you too. I'm sorry for asking you not to call."

"It's fine. Sammy, I wouldn't be your best friend if I didn't forgive you."

"And I wouldn't be your best friend if..." He paused. "There isn't anything worth losing you." I hugged him.

"So what did you come in here for?" I asked

"We're heading to the library, and saw your car out front."

"Sure, just give me a second." I put on my work boots and grabbed my jacket and headed out behind Sammy. I felt Dean's eyes on me as I climbed in the back seat.

"What took you so long?" I looked up at him, seeing concern in his eyes.

"Dean, it was nothing you need to worry about." Sammy said shortly.

"Sammy, it's okay. I fell asleep doing research and was in the middle of a nightmare."

"Yeah, she had a knife to my neck." Sammy commented. Dean laughed.

"Well, she is a hunter." Dean pointed out. Sammy laughed.

"Dean, you do have one thing to explain." I said.

"What?"

"Why the hell haven't you or John called me all these years? That's what phones are for, you imbecile." I said, "And if you even dare to tell me that you were too busy, that's bull shit. You could easily get on the phone and even call my uncle. I haven't heard anything about you or even talked to you since you left, and I stopped talking to Sammy after the fight per his request. The point is, you could've texted even to let me know that you and your dad were alive." I ranted. "You guys are some of the only family I got left, and I can't lose you, even though you were irritating as all get out." I continued. Dean rose an eyebrow.

"You done?" He asked. I looked into his bright green eyes and nodded. "Then let's go in."
