I bolted up from bed panting and sweating i have been having this dream ever since my dad disappeared two years ago. The police searched for any traces of him but they found nothing its like the ground opened up and swallowed him whole. I'm a normal teenage girl except for the fact that i all the girls in my school hate me but i never really cared what they thought of me. From what i heard they seem to be jealous of my "perfect" long blonde hair and my electric blue eyes but i bet they just naturally don't like me because I'm different and anyways i go to pacific side high school in L.A its your typical high school except for the fact that most of the girl who go there are sluts and the boys on the football team are jerks well except for Bryce, Logan, and Spencer. They are my best friends well my only friends another reason the girls at my school hate me is because I'm very close to them and they have never given those sluts the time of day. AVALON!!! HURRY UP YOUR GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!!! And that is my mother an alcoholic and a drug addict it's been that way ever since my dad's disappearance. I got up and ran towards the bathroom to take a quick shower as soon as I was done I went over to my closet and picked out a loose shirt with an infinity sign that hangs over my shoulder and put a green baggy sweater over it. Then I put on some blue faded jeans quickly put on my blue converse. I put my hair in a messy bun then i went down stairs only to skip breakfast like always I grabbed my backpack. I'm going mom tell Caleb I said bye and that I love him. Yeah Yeah just go or you'll be late! I gave her a kiss on the cheek then ran out the door and got on my bike I only live 5 minutes away from school which is a relief for me since I'm almost always late to school. Once I got to school I put a chain around my bike and only hoped someone didn't steal it but then again everyone here are rich snobs I ran in to school not aware of my surroundings and bumped into someone. As I slowly got up a guy with brown sleek hair and brown eyes along with a muscular body was standing in front of me giving me a angry and frustrating look watch it next time!!! is all he said waiting for my response im sorry was all i was able to say. Avalon!! I turned around to see Spencer, Spencer was tall and had a head full of golden locks with light blue eyes he also had a muscular body. Hey Spencer then the guy I bumped in said hey Spencer why don't you keep an eye on your clumsy girlfriend. Shut the hell up Calum don't talk about her that way!! Spencer was getting mad and he had his hands balled into fists. I talk however I wanna talk about her!! Calum said. Spence lets just go Spencer looked at me and his face soften then he said okay Ava come. He grabbed my hand and we started walking to class it was silent for a while then he broke the silence Avalon did he hurt you? I quickly responded and said no. Avalon stay away from him he's not someone you'd like to have around trust me Spencer said it in a serous tone. Ava bear promise me you won't go near him look at me please he put his finger under my chin and slowly lifted it so I could see his face. Spence I promise you I won't go near him I won't even look at him okay good his serous face turned into a wide smile.

CALUM P.O.V.

Im Calum Hastings i'm the star quarterback and i'm also a a treat to all the girls in school. But what can i say i've got all the goods and i get all the goods too. I haven't been having the best week but the worst week ever first I get cheated on by that slut Skyler which I'm not surprised but I didn't except it to be so soon. Then my best football player breaks his leg now I bumped into some girl I've seen hang around Spencer, Bryce and Logan before I admit the girls hot but not my type. And I wasn't in the mood for any bullshit today i did go a little over the line when i yelled at her and spencer but i just wasn't in the mood. I'll apologize to her later and i might as well flirt with her too ;). My classes passed by fast it was now lunch time I'd probably see the girl i bumped into this morning i think her name was Avalon. I was talking to Leo who was from my football team when i spotted Avalon she was laughing about something Bryce had said. I told Leo I'd be right back he said okay bro as i was walking i was stopped by Spencer Calum what do you want with her? I simply said i wanted to apologize about this morning. Spencer thought about it for a moment before saying fine. When i stopped in front of her she asked if there was something i wanted i said yeah i want to say sorry about what happened this morning i really wasn't in the mood for anything. All she said was its okay then i told her her name was beautiful just like herself she tried to hide the blush that was creeping upon her face. Thanks was the response i got from her out of the corner of my eye i could see spencer giving me a death glare i tried to ignore it and just kept trying to flirt with Avalon. Spencer came up to us and said i think you'v already apologized enough i rolled my eyes and asked Avalon for her wrist then i pulled out a pen and wrote my number on it. Call me sweetheart was the last thing i said before i left.
