Chapter 2

I woke up to silence. I felt a sudden pain in my stomach, then I remembered I hadn't eaten since yesterday morning. I checked my phone to see that it was 10:00am. I got out of bed quietly opening the door so I wouldn't wake up Harry. As I'm walking downstairs I hear Harry snoring. Gosh he's such a slob. When I get to the bottom of the stairs I see him. His body stretched across the couch. He's so pathetic. I get to the kitchen and reach for the cereal. I make my bowl, and I take it to my room. I hear my phone go off. It's my best friend, Katelyn.
Katelyn: Hey! Wake up!! We're going shopping!
Me: I'm up. I'm up.
Katelyn: I'll be there in 20!
  Oh shit. I look like I just got back from a bar. I run to the bathroom, brush my teeth do my makeup and straighten my hair. I put on my 5sos crop top that barely shows my belly button ring along with some black shorts. I go to find my black combat boots and realize they are downstairs. Shit. I go downstairs to find Harry wide awake fixing a drink. I walk right passed him to the door where my boots are. "Where the hell are you going?" He mumbled. He's definitely hungover. "Umm... Out with Katelyn." "You weren't going to ask me first?" He asked. I could hear the anger in his voice."I'm sorry. I didn't want to wake you." I reply, my voice shaking. "Whatever go out with your bitch." I can't believe the way he disrespects my friends and I. I hear honking. I run upstairs to get my money. As I'm walking out the door Harry yells "Be back by three or I swear to god you'll regret it!" I get in the car with my shoes in my hand and tears rolling down my face. "Fayth, what's the matter?" Katelyn asks really worried. "I want to leave!!! I hate that stupid prick!" "Fayth, that means you would have to move to Atlanta with your aunt Jen... She's the only other family you have." I can hear the hurt in her voice. "I know... I'm sorry."
