The one that got away is a story of a love that you know will not last but harry and Ellie still keep on trying, but you never know when it will end...

Chapter 1

                                                                                   harry P.O.V

"Harry, will you tone it down please." my mum shouts at me while I'm in the shower singing who's loving you by Michael Jackson.

"-ok" i shout back having no intension to stop singing. I finish up in the shower and just as i walk out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist my sister appears from the stairs and i welcome her with a smile then one of her friends which i have never met walks around the corner. As soon as she saw me her jaw slightly dropped and she froze. I didn't get why until i felt a cold breeze. My towel had dropped my sister hadn't saw yet this girls face went bright red. She pushed her hand through her brown hair and put it to the side of her face. she smiled with embarrassment.

                                                                                   ellie P.O.V

I walked into Gemma's house walking past Anne and giving her a little smile as Gemma introduced me to Anne her mother. We walked upstairs and Gemma explained she had a younger brother he is 2 years younger than us. As we walked around the corner to go to her room her younger brother walked out the bathroom at first he had a towel around his waist then it dropped. My whole body heated I tried not to look but it was very difficult. I tried to think of other things so I thought of his features. He had ( at the moment ) damp curly hair that was a dark brown, his beautiful light green eyes and he had to dimples on either side of his cheeks. He eventually noticed his towel had fallen and I smiled awkwardly. But , as soon as he realised about his towel Gemma came out of the room looking for me and saw harry. "Harry put it away !" she shouted as she covered her eyes with her hand. " It burns !" she exclaimed. I tried to move but i just couldn't so Gemma pulled me away from him and into her room. She slammed the door shut. I thought she would be pissed at me not moving as her little brother basically flashed me but she was so apologetic. " I am so sorry about my brother he never usually does that sort of thing!" she exclaimed. I quickly answered back" it's fine and he didn't mean to do it the towel fall!" I instantly was trying not to let him take the blame. Even though i have just met him i already feel a weird connection.

                                                                            harry P.O.V

" It's fine and he didn't mean to do it the towel fell!" she said instantly. I don't even know her name yet she has already saw me fully naked ( not like that's never happened before ). I better go get dressed for Layla my girlfriend. I quickly run into my room but quietly so Gemma didn't know i was listening to there conversation. I pull on my white t-shirt and my black skinny jeans and slowly walk out of my room. Luckily( sarcasm), Gemma and that girl were walking out to go down stairs. Great. " so i see your fully dressed this time!" Gemma jokes. " yeh." i answer awkwardly. I look up at that girl to look at her face but she is just looking at the floor. " i am sorry about before i ..."

"it's fine." she interrupts me. " so where are you going?" my sister questions. " i am going to pick Layla up in 20 minutes." i say trying to end the conversation. " oh, when did you break up with kirstey?"

                                                                           ellie P.O.V

" oh, when did you break up with kirstey?" Gemma asks a personal question. " I haven't." harry says proudly. A sigh escapes my mouth. Then i make Eye contact with him and Gemma laughs at my remark.

The new girl lets out a sigh. I didn't know how to react if that was a boy i would have beaten him up but she's not a boy. My sister lets out a giggle and i looked at her and left them at the stairs as i decide to go down and see my mother before i leave.

                                                                           ellie P.O.V

He looks at Gemma then walks down the stairs and leaves us there Gemma looks at me and smiles " look, you haven't done anything wrong someone needed to say something about the way he treats girls." she explains. I don't know what else to do then sigh. I should just keep my mouth shut that's what got me in trouble last time. But lets not get onto that just yet.Gemma grabs my hand and starts pulling me down the stairs which snaps me out of my thoughts. We walk into the sitting room to find Anne and harry sitting on the couch watching TV. As soon as me and Gemma walk in harry shifts from the couch to leave. " bye mum, bye Gemma and ... " "Ellie" Gemma tells him "bye ellie. Nice to meet you?" he questions the last part. Gemma and Anne both give him and me weird looks. I have just met this family and i already haven't made a good impression.
