Annabeth POV
The party is quite stressful. Everyone gives me looks that seem like their judging. When they call for truth or dare, it's around midnight and my head is really hurting. Percy looks tired to. "Percy? Can we-uh-go. It's getting late," I say. He nods, looking relived I asked, and wheels me out of the house.
When we're outside, he says, "I'll give you your medicine when we get home." I look up at him with shock, "How did you know?" He smiles, but with a look of concern, "I can always tell when your in pain. You stutter and your face gets really pale." I feel myself blush, and he helps me in the car.
As we drive, I feel myself drift off into sleep.
Time lapse
"Annabeth, wake up." I open my eyes and see Percy sitting at the edge of the bed, rubbing my shoulder. "Hey, it's 11, the doctor called me and wants to schedule an appointment at 1," he says. I sit up, and he helps me stand, but doesn't let me put any weight on my feet. He puts me in my wheelchair and helps me downstairs.
He gets out chocolate covered strawberries and orders pizza.
