Erick's POV
As I walked away from Lana, I noticed when I diverted my eyes, she sagged a bit, but I kept on walking towards my destination.
I walked up the old stairs and quickly pushed the doors open to Lucinda's office open and sat on the couch.
"Okay, what's going on?" I stated.
"Whatever do you mean?" Lucinda sat behind her desk, with glasses on, reading a book.
"I know you know about Mo. Why did you never tell me?"
"I simply don't know what you mean, young man." She replied plainly.
"She's a witch."
Lucinda only glanced at me briefly before returning to her book. "Oh yes, that. I suppose it breezed my mind a couple of times."
"Lucinda," I stood and walked to the front of her desk, forcing her to look up at me, "I'm not playing around, what is going on?"
She stood too and looked at me squarely in the eyes. "That is none of your concern young man, and you would do well to learn that this isn't about you and Lana, it's about our town, that I am the leader of. You do not need to know my business and I am your Alpha, so you will do as I say."
I allowed a low growl and spun around. "The prophecy is changing isn't it."
I heard her sigh. "Yes. But I don't know what will be changed."
I sighed and left the room. Lucinda never told me anything. I helped this town out more than once.
And I received nothing in return, but an engagement, to two women. And a prophecy that was now being changed.
Sorry this chapter is so short! I'm not gonna update until I get more views and comments tho :(
