Chapter 1 - Becoming an Assassin

My name is John West and two weeks ago I was just a store cashier. Two weeks ago one night I was walking home ( I lived about a block away )  3 men approached me " Give us your wallet and nobody will get hurt " the biggest one said, I replied " no " I could Handel them , after all I used to take boxing lessons , the biggest one through a punch at me , I countered then through him down and stomped on him, then one of them punched me in the face, so I tripped him and through him down and kicked him in the face , then the last one pulled out a pocket knife and attempted to stab me , I countered , disarming him , and then knocked him out . A hooded man then approached me and asked me to walk with him . He told me the men I took out were Templars I asked what the were he told me he would explain later. He took me to a secret underground place with other hooded men and asked if I wanted to join the Assassin Brotherhood " What's that " I replied " We work to protect the freedom of humanity from the Templars " he replied   " Yes " I replied " Then let us make it final " he said . We went before the mentor of the Assassin Brotherhood he said " if you want to be an Assassin come forward  " I came before him . He took a metal clamp heated by fire and burned my middle finger for a few seconds then he said " the tenets of our creed are simple, do not harm an innocent, hide in plain sight, and do not compromise the Brotherhood, you are now an assassin let your training begin " The assassin that brought me here told me that his name was Drake Wayne and took me to the training hall . In the training hall one wall was covered with weapons ( mostly knives and daggers ) the other wall had a climbing wall on it in the middle of the room had some punching bag in it, now my training begins .
