The beggining

Aphmau POV
I hear a knock on the door and check to see who it is.

Aph-Who is that?

Aphmau-Zane what are you doing at my house and in Phoenix Drop!?

Zane-Can't someone see a friend every once in a while?

-You are not my friend.

-Oh well, anyways Aphmau, in 3 days you will get married.

- WHAT?!?!

Zane-If you don't marry me then I will kill everyone in your village.

*Aphmau thinks* what will I do? This can't be happening.

Aphmau- Fine. I will. But only for my village if I get to see it every week.

Zane-I'm sorry but I cannot allow that. You may only see your village every other month once.

-But what about the lord. What will happen to it?

-That will be your decision. In the mean time, you will be on house arrest until the wedding.

-Fine.
I stormed back into my house and ran upstairs to tell Zoey what's happening.

Zoey- I'll take the boys to play at Molly's house.

Zoey tells the boys they are going to play with Alexis and Kyle for a while.
Once they leave I tried to sneak outside but Zane put guards all over my house. I ask a guard if I can see Zane. The guard runs off to get Zane for me. After a few minutes Zane and his guard arrived.

-Can I please go out and check on my village?

-If I come with you to make sure you don't leave you can go.

-Fine.

I go make all my rounds and explain to everyone what will be happening around the village. I then decided to take a break at the beach. Zane sits down next to me.

-Why do I have to marry you?

-Because this way I can make O'kasis more powerful and expand our land.

Zane looks at me and notices I look sad about leaving my village and everyone I knew. He leans in and caresses my cheek.

What are you trying to do?!

I jump up and storm off back to my house.

Zane POV

I lean in and caress Aphmau's cheek.

-What are you trying to do?!

I loved her. I didn't know how to tell her. She hated me for sure now. Aphmau was the only person who I loved. It broke my heart to see her look so sad. I didn't know what to do. I only hope she can learn to love me like I love her.
