Sophia P.O.V
She wasn't going to lie to herself and say that she didn't put a little extra effort into the way she looked today because Alektra was going to walk her.
Sophia was standing in front of a full-size mirror examining herself. Sophia was wearing a plain white top with black pants. She took extra time to curl her hair and made sure it looked perfect,then she added red lipstick with mascara. She finished it off with a pair of cheap gold earrings and a gold watch. As she looked at herself she couldn't help but notice that she was not the same size as she was in college, giving birth has took a toll on her body big time. She now had stretch marks and fat that just won't go away.
She sighed depressed as she came from her room and walked down the steps. Alektra must have heard her heels hitting the stairs from the kitchen because she was standing beside the staircase watching her intently.
"Is that what you wear to work every day?" Alektra asked in a softer voice than usual.
"Yes, it's uniform," Sophia said "why?"
"Nothing," she said quickly and looking away "I made coffee do you want a cup?"
"Sure, can you put 2 teaspoons of sugar in it, please?" Sophia asked as she grabbed her handbag and put her cell phone inside.
"No problem," Alektra said as she disappeared into the kitchen and reappeared with 2 mugs and gave one to her.
"Thank you, are you ready to go?" Sophia asked sipping the coffee.
"Yep" Alektra said opening the door for Sophia "where do you work?"
" I work in a retail store called 'wear it is'" Sophia said locking the door and buttoning up her coat, when she looked at Alektra she realized she didn't have one on. "Where is your coat! It's 30 degrees outside!" Alektra was wearing a buttoned down plaid shirt with a pair of jeans.
"When I was packing to come down here I didn't check the weather. Can I please drive you?"
"You have a car?" Sophia asked when Alektra pulled out a pair of car keys and pressed a little button and a black 2015 BMW roared to life.
"Yeah," Alektra said as she quickly ran over to the vehicle and opened her door then slipped into driver side.
When Sophia got in Alektra already had the heater and the seat heater on high.
"You rented this?" Sophia asked admiring the black cushioned interior.
"Yep, it's nice isn't it?" Alektra asked as she turned on the street listening to her phone GPS.
"It is." Sophia practicily purred wishing she could afford a car.
"Are you hungry?" Alektea asked glancing at Sophia.
"No, not really."
"What about lunch?"
"I eat lunch at 2pm"
"May I join you?"
"Don't you have anything else to do while your here?"
"Ouch, no not really I just came to vacation in Seattle because of Imara and Jessica's wedding but now that's over I have nothing to do."
"Well I guess I can grace you with my company." Sophia said with a smirk
"Thank you, your magisty. For your time I shall buy you lunch."
"You don't have to do that"
"I insist since you are my entertaimnet." Alektra said smiling as she parked her car. She quickly got out and opened Sophia's.
"I'm your entertainment now?" Sophia asked
"Yes, my beauti-Um my average entertainment" Alektra said a bit nervouse.
Did she just call me beautiful?
"Do you get paid commision?" Alektra asked changing the subject.
"Why yes I do, will you be my first customer?"asked Sophia walking in front of her to a huge department store.
"Depends on if you are a good sells person." Alektra said with a smirk.
"Oooh! Ok, I am employee of the month 3 times in a row. I'll show you my customer service skills at it's finest!" Sophia said smiling but with determination in her eyes.
"We'll see" Alektra said sounding unimpressed.
