Katie awoke with tommy next to her his arm wrapped around her side and his sleeping head buried deep into her neck. Katie smiled, god how shed miss this. All her friends and parents said that they would never last because they were high school sweethearts but here they are a year later, still as deeply in love as ever. Katie rolled over into Tommy's chest and smiled as he slowly awoke. "Good morning baby." She whispered kissing him. "Good morning!" He replied kissing Katie back. As there lips pressed Katie got shivers, she loved the sensation when they touched, it always made her want to continue further and never stop. "I'm so happy your home." Katie whispered into tommy's ear. "Me to, it was so hard to be away from you and make those three phone calls a week because that's all The time I had in town." Katie nodded then kissed him again and then got up and walked into the kitchen. Her dark brown hair was up in curlers and even without makeup she was a Beaty. As she cracked two eggs over the stove with some bacon and put four pieces of toast in the toaster, tommy came and grabbed her from behind holding her close. That sensation hit her again. "Your the best." She told him. "After breakfast I'm going to take a shower, want to join?" Katie smiled. "I think you know the answer to that question." She replied plopping the eggs, toast and bacon onto the plate, pouring them each a cup of freshly brewed black coffee. After breakfast they continued with their promise and took a shower together. Then the phone rang. It was tommy's first day back and work had already been calling for him again. "Tommy, we need you next week, up in the mountains we need a delivery of 200 7 foot metal poles. So can I sign you up?" Tommy looked at Katie, she had a sad look in her eyes. "Uh ill let you know by tomorrow." Tommy hung up as Katie started to cry. He came over and held her close. "Please don't cry baby, I told them maybe, it's not a yes." He kissed Katie's warm forehead. "I know, it's just, you just got back after fiver months, and they already want you to go back next week. It's not fair on me! I hate it when you leave, it's so quite and I miss you so much. Plus they want you up in the mountains where it's snowy and slippery and there's no railings on the side of the road and..." Tommy interrupted. "Hey, hey, hey, baby shhhh. I'm not going to go if its this much trouble. I miss you to so much on those trips and I know it's not fair to you, but we need the money. This is the only job I can seem to keep and I love it out on the roads, plus your a waitress, so we really don't have much choice, we need every bit of money we can get." Katie nodded. "Come on let's go to the bar." Tommy suggested. Katie got her purse and they walked together up the street to the local bar holding hands.
