"When the daylight comes i'll have to go, but tonight i want to hold you so close."

They both had their secrets, but things were finally getting to be okay. They were together, it was a secret, but they had each other. Every night, Louis would crawl into Harry's bed and they would fall asleep to the sound of one anothers heartbeats. When daylight broke, he had to slip away, wanting to keep their happy bubble private. But as feelings develop, so do the problems.

The first time had been an accident, they hadn't meant to sleep in the same bed, cuddled together so close. When Louis woke up the next morning, he was shocked to say the least. He denied the fact that his heart was pounding against his chest, so loud he thought it might wake up his sleeping partner. He slipped out of the covers and climbed into his bed opposite Harry. It felt cold and lonely in comparrisson, but he needed to do something to calm his shaken breaths.

The second time was a mutual decision. Neither wanted to admit they had developed a craving for sharing the small tourbus bed. They had both found it hard to sleep alone, resulting in many frustated hours wasted on staring at the ceiling.

"Harry? Mind if i stay in here tonight? Too tired to climb to my bunk." It was a petty excuse, but the best Louis could come up with. Harry simply moved back in responce, lifting the duvet so Louis could climb in. They gravitated towards each other, just naturally.

"Night, you nutter." Louis could swear he felt Harry grin as he said it, causing him to dig his hands into his ribs. Harry shrieked in reply and Louis threw a hand over his mouth to stop him waking up the others.

"Sweet dreams, twat. I'll go before they wake up. You know they'll just never let us live it down." Harry murmered his agreement before shuffling around so his head ending up in the crook of Louis' neck, falling to sleep alost instantly. It took a lot longer for Louis, who was trying to stop his stupidly loud heart from pumping through his chest. What was happening to him?

The third time was when something finally happened. Louis had been carrying around his feelings for way too long. He couldn't even look in Harry's direction without fighting off the urge to kiss him or whatever he was thinking in his head at the time. It effected everything, except his friendship with Harry. He even ended things with Eleanor, though things fizzled out a while back, it just took some time to realise that. Everyone was shocked at how well Louis reacted, and he wondered if he should pretend to be heartbroken. Normally, people are cut up about the end of a two year relationship. But now he could focus on what was going on in his head. And of course the end of the bands second world tour. Only a few dates were left. But that just meant the start of the rehersals for the stadium tour, so he couldn't be too down about things.

Climbing in next to Harry, Louis didn't even ask for permission. Harry registered his presence and turned to face him, only then realising just how close it made their faces.

"Hi." It was a whisper, but they didn't want to wake the others up. They both appreciated their alone time. They loved the others; thought of them as brothers as well as best friends, but their was something different about Harry and Louis' "friendship". The two had always had the closest bond, from the first time they properly met up at Harry's step dads house after boot camp. It was intense, but they never thought anything of it. People often commented by thinking there was something more than they were letting on, but they simply brushed it off. The fans picked up on it too, made their own fandom for 'larry stylinson' and analyzed everything and anything. Louis let on that it annoyed him, as he was in a relationship, but he secretly loved it. He secretly spent hours scrolling through tumblr and twitter at all things larry related. Nobody knew, of course, not even Harry.

"Are you okay Lou? Really okay? With all this Eleanor stuff." Louis was pulled from his thoughts when Harry spoke and slipped his hands around the waist of his best friend. Neither mentioned anything, but they both felt the electric spark run through them.

"I'm really, really okay. I just needed to get away from that relationship. I needed to sort out my own thoughts and do what i want to do. I hope we can still be friends though." Harry couldn't help but roll his eyes, hoping that the end of the relationship had meant he would never see Eleanor again. It wasn't that he hated her, she was a lovely girl, but he was glad she was out of the picture. Harry had his own secret. Louis secretly spent hours secretly shipping himself with his best friend, whereas Harry spent hours crying over his. He was in love with Louis, and couldn't do anything about it. Every time someone was to mention them being together, Louis would deny immediately, as if the thought repulsed him.

"That's good, i mean, that you're happy. Yeah.." Harry's voice trailed off, not wanting to ramble on. He bit his lip as he figured what to say next. He always found it so easy to talk to Louis, but his speech seemed to dissapear as they lay beside each other, limbs entwined together.

"I'm just going to try something. Close your eyes for me." Harry did as asked almost immediately, it was scary the affect Louis had on him. If the blue-eyed boy asked that he jump into a pit of lava, he wouldn't think twice about doing so.

Louis hesitated slightly before lifting his body above Harry's and lowering down, so their lips were mere milimeters away from each other. His fears seemed to take over for a second as he stopped himself and started to shake gently. This could ruin everything, and he would rather die than lose his best friend.

"Fuck it." He growled out his words and dropped his lips to meet Harry's. The kiss was sweet, but desperate and loving at the same time. Louis always thought people were joking when they say they saw fireworks, but he could have happily stayed in the moment forever. He was reluctant to pull away, reluctant to face the concequenes of what he had just done.

"I have wanted you to do that for three years." Harry's hand cupped his cheek and they both mirrored the wide grins they both had spread across their faces.

"I can't believe i just did." They lay down with their foreheads pressed together, entwining their fingers together as their legs slotted together.

"Do you regret it?" Harry's eyed widened as he asked the question, almost dreading the answer. Louis lay his lips over the younger boys as a silent answer, wanting Harry to know that he would never, in a million years, regret what just happened between them.

"We should probably sleep, we have a meeting in the morning. You're not leaving are you?" Louis shook his head and turned around, his usual sleeping position. Usually, Harry would turn the other way and sleep facing the wall. Tonight felt different, he slung an arm across Louis' waist and pulled him back against his body, so his back was flush against the boys chest. Louis curled into the new position and linked his fingers with Harry's. He knew he'd need to leave before the other boys woke up, but just for now it was fine. Harry was holding him so close, and it made him never want to leave his arms.
