Chapter 8

*one week later*

Jade PoV
Louis had gone out tonight and I was at home watching tv, till my phone buzzed and it was a text from maya.

Maya: look at this *picture send*
Me: what!!!
Me: we were just getting along
Maya: I'm sorry
Me: I hear Louis's car pull up
Maya: good luck I'm here for you

"I'm home" I hear Louis shout

He walks in to see to the tears down my face "what's wrong love" he says trying to hug me

"Don't" I push his arms off me and stand up

"Are you mad at me"

Am I mad at you well you kissed another girl so what do you think

I bring up the picture showing him

"Ohhh" he instantly had a flood of fear cover his face.

"I can't believe you" I say angrily

"I'm really sorry"

"Why did I think things had changed you're still the same jerk from high school" I go to turn but he grabs my wrist

"It didn't mean anything just let me explain" he shouts

"Jade listen, i may have been a bit drunk and got carried away but it was a quick kiss nothing else happen and it meant nothing"

"Let go of me" i pull my wrist but he doesn't let go

"Jade please I don't want to lose you" he sighs

"Don't worry You never had me to lose" I scoff and walk out the room

I run upstairs and shut the bedroom door, I lay on the bed and cry. why did it hurt so much.

Louis came up and brushed his teeth and grabbed his pillow walking out not talking to me once. I sigh and lay down sinking into my bed falling asleep instantly.

I came downstairs with a blanket and saw Louis still asleep on the couch. I pull the blanket over him so he wasn't cold, even though I was still mad, I still cared about him... that wasn't going to change.

I when into the kitchen and make pot of coffee and started eating my cereal.

Just as I finished Louis come in "did you put the blanket on me" he smiles

"I may be mad but i still care about you" I say coldly and walk out.

He comes up to our room and get changed. He says he's going out for a bit and ignore him.

Louis PoV

I was my friend Charlie's house pacing in his living room

"She hates me" i say nervously

"Dude she doesn't hate you"

"Well I'm not exactly her favourite person am I" I snap

"If I didn't already feel bad when I slept on the couch last night I woke up with and blanket on me that she put there and said she still care about me even if she was mad" I sigh and collapse on the couch

"Talk her me. I've done this before and it wasn't pretty, they just want to know you're there and they can trust you" he pats my back and pushes me up "it'll will be fine"

I said a quick goodbye and thank you and drive back home.

"Jade can we talk" I walk into the lounge room to see her watching tv

"Sure" she scoffs and turns off the tv

"I'm really sorry" I say sitting down to her

"For being a giant jerk" She slightly laughs

"Yes for being a giant jerk" I say returning the laugh

"She was an old Friend and everyone thought it would be funny I didn't know someone took a photo" I sigh

"It's fine. I forgive you" I sigh chuckle

He face instantly lights up "really"

"Yes" I smile

I lean in and hug him and wrap my arms around him and he does the same squeezing me tight. I sink my face into his chest holding him.

"Are we ok" he say rubbing my head

"Yes" I squeeze him

"Ok how are you this strong" he laughs and I let go

"Just am" I shrug

He lifts my chin looking in my eyes and softly kisses my lips.

he pulls back with a massive smile on his face. He kisses my forehead before standing up

"We should have some lunch" he say taking my hand

We made some sandwiches and sat at the table. "I really am sorry" he says and rubs my hand

"It's fine don't worry, it's over now" I smile

He walk to the lounge room and turn on the tv. I lean on his shoulder and he raps his arm around me.

I start playing with his hand interlocking it with mine. I look up to see him smiling. This is exactly what I want right here.
