All I wanted to do after today, was go lay down on my couch and watch Pretty Little Liars. Not gonna happen. Livy and Holly decided to have a celebration dinner tonight. Yippee......

I scanned the diner for Olivia and Holls.

"KARR!!" I heard Holly's chirpy voice call from my right. (Pronounced Care)

I turned and instantly a smile broke onto my face. I squealed and ran torwards their booth. I grabbed them both in a huge group hug.

"Holls! Livy! Hey!" I muffled into their shoulders.

"What's up, butter-cup?" Holls greeted.

I smiled and Livy spoke, "Kar! Hows the devil's little lady job working?"

I groaned, "Absolutely horrible. Next question."

"What did y'all do?" Holly asked curiously.

"Well, she said I made cardboard cookies, she called me poor, and talked about her big brother NON-STOP." I faked enthusiasm.

"Smart little girl... Who is her brother?" Olivia remarked.

"Probably a nerd. What guy can bake? Even though that's totally hot, no cute guys can bake!" Holly spoke up.

I nodded slowly thinking about it. "Maybe it's Nerdy Nathan? Or Dorky David! Maybe even Spitty Sean?"

We had nicknames for practically E-V-E-R-Y nerd/dork/weirdo in our entire city. It was HILLARIOUS! But even, Holly felt guilty!

It couldn't be Ethan, my ex, or any of his jock friends. They probably couldn't even make cereal!

Ethan.

His name even made my heart speed up! He broke my heart three months ago, but I think I will never stop loving Ethan. He was my first and only love all through highschool.

Holly, Olivia, and I all talked for another thirty minutes. We all decided to head home and atleast attempt our homework.

"Bye Kar, Livy!" Holly sang as she walked out the door and drove off.

Olivia sighed and hugged me, "Bye Kar. See you tomorrow!"

I hugged her back and walked out of the diner and hopped in my car. Finally. I turned the engine on and drove home, listening to Moves Like Jaggar. I danced in my set till I parked outside of my sister, Leah's, apartment condo.

I hopped out and dragged my feet up the stairs and through my level door. I walked down the dark hallway and opened the door to Apartment 312.

Home sweet home.

I swung my bag over my chair and sat down at my desk. Might as well try.

It took my hours to finish all my homework. By the time I was done, it was 1am. Might as well gt some sleep.

I pulled on a pair of short blue Nike shorts and a white tank top. I yawned loudly and layed down. I fell asleep instantly.

The next morning

"Now the part don't stop till-" Ke$ha's voice pounded throughout my room.

"-I press the "off" button" I finished for Ke$ha tiredly.

Yawn. It's 5:30 am.

I crawled out o my bed's warm embrace an crept torwards my bathroom. I peeled off my pajamas and turned the shower knob.

I leapt into the shower and washed my hair and body. I put a small amount of conditioner in my blonde hair and stepped into my towel. I dried my hair and ran a brush through it. I look better than I did ten minutes ago....

I pulled on a pair of light blue Jean short shorts and a pink tank top with pink flip-flops I pulled one of my baggy sweat shirts over my head that said 'BRING IT!' on the front in bold print. I shrugged my backpack over my shoulders and heade down to the kitchen.

I peeled a banana and yelled, "Bye Lee!" to Leah.

I walked out the door and saw a tired Livy and a grumpy Holly.

"H-aaaaaaayyy," I yawned.

Livy nodded and Holls replied, "Yeah, yeah. I want to get to school on time today!!"

Me and Olivia exchanged looks and we sped off to school.

School went by really fast. When I say fast I actually mean I fell asleep until the bell rang which cause school to seem shorter. At lunch some freshman "accidentally spilled a bit of spaghetti sauce on my hoodie so I ended up taking it off. I got in trouble for dresscode but it was just a warning, and Mr. Cadely slammed a textbook in my face to wake me up. But, overall, school went okay! Just okay...

I drove myself to Avery's house and parked in their driveway. I knocked on the door and Avery's Nana opened the door. She pulled me inside and left, locking the door behind her.

Someone's eager.

"Hey, Avery! I'm downstairs if you need me!" I shouted up the stairs. I heard a television coming from upstairs. Thinking it was Avery, I sat down on the couch.

I texted Holly until Avery came downstairs.

"You look semi-decent today," she sneered.

"Gee, thanks!" I faked enthusiasm.

"Don't be ugly to me Missy, me big brother could kill you in a second!!" she threatened.

"Oooh, I'm so scared! Who is your brother anyway?" I interrogated.

"My Ethy!" she announced, "He's way better than you, I'll go get him!"

Ethy? Weir name. But, okay?

"Oh-Kay...." I trailed off as she stomped upstairs.

If her Brother is here, why am I? Maybe he can't handle her.

I heard Avery giggling and big heavy stomps down stairs.

Who I saw next made my heart flutter and my knees weaken.

It was Ethan.
