In the dark it's oh so cold,
Waiting for the worst to unfold,
Wanting hope or some kind of light,
You sit there and wait and wait all through the night,
All you want is something to hold,
All you want is something to call your own,
Yet you still wait and wait In the night,
The darkness closing in around you close and tight,
The only way you will get out,
Is to pick yourself up,and never be down,
Always think of the best,
No matter if the situation is life or death,
Life is too short to be filled with doubt,
While guilt is endless unless you make it stop,
In the darkness it's oh so cold,
Don't wait for the worst to unfold,
Get up and get out of the darkness,
Because there is way more to life than being heartless.

PoetryThis is my poem that I wrote when I was feeling upset. I will probably publish a lot of them on hear so I don't lose them when my journal gets lost or if it gets ruined.
