Da'Mauria had just started her job at Interscope Records. She walked in the building in a pair of flats and a mini black dress that hugged her curves. She was heading to her office when she was stopped by her co-worker Bahja.

"Um, what do you have on?"

"A dress," Da'Mauria said still walking.

Bahja followed her and stopped her. "No. Those shoes," She said looking at them. "If you-"

"I need to get to work. Goodbye," Da'Mauria said, swerving her and walking into her office. Her boss walked in. "Da'Mauria, your first client is here. His name is Chresanto August. He wants you to write him and Ray a song."

"Will I get my credit?"

"Yes, Da'Mauria. Now, chop chop. He'll be here soon," She said smiling and then walking out.

Da'Mauria began straightening out papers when she looked over at her wedding picture and smiled. Chresanto walked in. "Da'Mauria?" He asked in confusion.

"Yes. Thats me."

"We need you down in the studio to help us with the song, beautiful." He said smiling.

"Okay. Be down in a minute and its Da'Mauria. I'd rather be called that. No nicknames."

"My bad, ma." He said smirking and walking out.

She rolled her eyes and followed him downstairs.

She walked in the studio along beside him and he introduced her to everybody.

"Okay. What type of song do you guys want?" She said eagerly.

"Um, r&b mixed with hip-hop." Ray said looking over at the guys. They shut it down. "Then do y'all have any ideas?"

"Hip-Hop, Rap, Pop and R&B." Chres said.

"I just-" Ray groaned.

"Shut it," Chres chuckled.

They produced a song called "I luv this shxt"(August Alsina). They spent all day in the studio. They didn't go home until about 5 A.M. When Da'Mauria walked in Jacob was sitting on the couch.

"Bae, you still up?" She asked and plopped down next to him.

"Yeah. I was worried," Jacob said hugging her.

"Im okay, love. Its just we were in the studio producing this song. That took forever."

"Okay. Let's get to bed."

"I wanna hear about your day."

"Welp, there was a fight today at lunch. Those kids are driving me crazy." He laughed.

"They outta line." She chuckled and stood up, taking his hand and dragging him to bed.
