I was woken up by the buzzing of my phone I sighed , I hated school . I turned off the alarm and went to my closet to find something to wear .I took some black jeans and a white shirt and put on a jean jacket. I also , rolled up the sleeve a bit. I then went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face. After I was done I decided to but my hair in a pony tail. I put on my black and white converse and headed down stairs .
" Good morning Anna , I have to get to work early . I'll see you later I love you! "
" Good morning mom and alright see I'll ya later love you too. " I gave her a hug and watch as she went out the door . I decided to get a granola bar and water bottle since I didn't really have that much time to eat breakfast . I looked at the time it read 7:15 so Calum should be here any minute I put the granola bar in my backpack and heard a knock at the door .
" Hey cal. "
" Hey , you ready to go ?"
" Yep! Hold on let me grab my keys. "
I went back to the kitchen to get my keys off the counter and headed out the door. I locked the door and we started walking.
" I'm so excited you coming to stay at my house! " he chuckled
" I'm excited too , it's gonna be fun." I say smiling even though I was really excited I mean , like come on I'm staying at my best friend house for the weekend it's gonna be awesome.
" Yeah did you do you homework ? " Calum raised his eyebrow.
" Of course I already took pictures of it because I knew you were gonna ask."I say chuckling I sent Calum the pictures of my homework as we were walking .
" You're the best person ever "
" Anything for my best friend " he smiled
We arrived to school it was five minutes till the bell was going to ring.
" I'll catch up with you at lunch I see Jessica
At my locker " calum says
" Okay " I say with a small smile he gave me a hug I felt a bit of sadness when he walked away. I pushed my feelings away and I decide to go class I walked in class and sat in my seat.
" Okay class , we're gonna work on are writing assignment it needs to be turned in on Tuesday But , I'm gonna give you the whole class period to work on it ." everyone sighed I got my notebook out and started to write time flew by and I was half way done with my writing . The bell rang and I put my notebook in my backpack and walked out of the class room.
The day went by fast next thing I know it was lunch time . I walked in the cafeteria and searched for my friends and walked towards them.
" Hey Anna " I was simultaneously greeted by Michael , Luke and Ashton. " Hi guys" I took a set next to Michael and noticed that calum wasn't there.
" Where's calum ? " I question.
" I think I saw him in the 200 building he went to get something he should be back though" Michael says.
" okay "
A few minutes passed and I see Calum walk in holding Jessica's hand he kisses her and then she goes with her group of friends. I looked away I didn't understand why he was with her. I feel like she's gonna break his heart and I don't want that to happen! Every time I see them together it makes me upset like , I don't know what this feeling is. But I know that it's not gonna go away. I snapped out of my thoughts as I see him walking towards the table.
" Hey guys " he says
Everyone at the table greeted him back I spoke up.
" So...what's the plan for Saturday again ?" I say.
" We're gonna go to the mall and we should go to the beach " Michael says
" Sounds great What do you think cal ?" I ask him
" Sounds fun so .... we can meet at my house at 12:00 on Saturday "He confirms the plans.
Everyone agreed and we talked for the whole lunch laughing at random stuff we did. Eventually, the bell rang calum and I said goodbye to our friends and walked to class together since we have the same class.
" I'm so done with school " he says
" Honesty same it's too much work "
I say with chuckle
" I know right"
We entered the class room and went to our seats. When the bell rang the class was completely silent.
" Good afternoon class! Today's assignment is to write about a place you would like to visit one day and bring something that is important to you ! You may also work in partners for this ! Please get started . " Mr.Henderson says.
Calum and I already knew that we were gonna be partners.
" Please be in mind this assignment will be due next Friday. If you have any questions please see me at my desk or after class! " Mr.Henderson concluded.
The class went by fast I was glad that it was Friday.The bell rung I put my notebook in my backpack and wait for calum to come out of the room.
" Are we gonna walk home together ?" I say
He looked at his phone , then at me.
" Jessica said that she needs me to help her with something , I'll catch up with you later okay " he say he gives me a quick hug before rushing to go find her.
I sighed at continue to walk to the front entrance of the school it feels like ever since she came into Calum's life he's been drifting away from me. I don't know what to do I don't wanna lose ... him I can't lose him. Instead of going straight home I decided to go to the park near my house. I sat on the bench that was facing the pond. I come here when I need think or just need time to be alone , all I could think about was what to do . I find myself thinking about Calum a lot lately and how everything's been going . I sighed I rolled up the sleeve from my jean jacket and stared at the bracelet my dad gave me for my birthday a couple of years back . I never took it off because I feel like he is still with me even though his not here. He'll always be with me . He always gave me good advice and right now I really needed it .
I sighed and rolled my sleeve down I got up and started to walk back to the house . I opened the door and was greeted by my mom.
" Hi sweetheart how was school ? " My mother greets me .
" It was fine. " I replied my tone bored.
" Do you have all your stuff packed for calums house ? "
" Yeah I packed everything yesterday " I say
" Alright , I just wanted to make sure you always forget something " she chuckled
I laughed " yeah I know but this time I think I got everything "
" Alright " she says
"I'm gonna get going before it gets to dark "
" okay be safe have fun , I love you " she says
" i will love you too " I say
I walked out of the house and started walking towards Calum's house . I text Calum to tell him I was on my way this weekend is going to be great
